A busy Sunday of football comes to its conclusion at White Hart Lane as Spurs and Sunderland go head-to-head in the 4.30pm kick-off.

The hosts’ 4-0 win over Stoke last weekend boosted out faith in the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli, yet their midweek Champions League loss to Monaco at Wembley suggests Mauricio Pochettino’s side have yet to hit top gear.

Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela owners are left cursing their luck after the duo were named amongst the subs, with Mousa Dembele returning to the XI following a six-match suspension.

Certainly, the home side will be buoyed by their visitors’ second-half capitulation at home to Everton on Monday night.

The Black Cats have yet to win under David Moyes and, considering their current form, may well be lucky to avoid a repeat of the 4-1 reverse in the corresponding fixture last season.

  This proves why basing things on transfers alone is such a bad idea.
  
  One of Ighalo's shots off target was the miss of the season against an open net and just highlighted his lack of confidence.

  I would rather have option A) for the coming game weeks. I’m pretty sure both Lukaku and Mané will do very well, both have great fixtures. United have Wayne Rooney, so they will probably not score many goals. Antonio won’t keep scoring, I think.

  By my understanding, if a player is above +100 they will rise immediately overnight (their Target will be outlined blue), and if they are below -100 they will drop overnight (Target will be outlined red). This means that they have reached the threshold for Net Transfers in or out to warrant a price change. After they have changed price overnight by 0.1, the table will reset their Target to the next threshold and they will start at the bottom of the table again.

Challenge time, using WC and want to make this work

Foster / Jaku
Valencia / Dann / Williams / Collins / Amat
Sanchez / Sterling / Antonio / Capoue / Fer
Lukaku / Kun / Kane

Unfortunately this leaves me -£3m. What do people think, can i lose 3m in defence or just give up hope of a dream front 6?

  Kane has a sprained ankle, switch him out... Fer too expensive to keep as a 5th mid if you play Capoue, don't love Dann unless you've owned him since the start, that's chasing his goals...

2 Questions.

1. Will Rashford start from now on after this weekend's performance? Can he be used to cover for Ibra points if indeed he starts playing regularly?

2. Can Swansea cause an upset next weekend against Man City? They drew 1-1 the last time they met in Wales. But Pep is a different beast?

  1. Rashford will start. Too early to tell if he improves the team overall and Ibra's goal output stays consistent, or if he cuts into it.

  Don't think you'll really be able to cover Ibra's points, he's very much the main man in that team in terms of goalscoring. Better off just looking for a good pick elsewhere to replace him.

  1. no, same case as with ihenacho. sometimes he will start, sometimes no, even if he's best player, he's still 18
  2. no, perhaps no clean sheet for city but 10-2 or something seems possible with current city form.
