It’s a quandary that has been rattling around the brains of Fantasy managers for the last week or so. With cut-price forwards offering decent returns, many Fantasy managers are reshaping their midfields ahead of a hectic Christmas period.

Nani, Rafael Van der Vaart and Juan Mata have been the chief protagonists for differing reasons. The United man’s 18-point haul against Wolves has many juggling budgets and looking to squeeze him in. Van der Vaart’s hamstring has seen plenty jumping ship and Mata’s consistency and flourishing form within a revived Chelsea team is starting to attract plenty suitors.

All three have a favourable run of fixtures on the horizon between now and the end of gameweek 20, when plans can be revised as the festive wildcard comes into play. Question is, then, is one, two or even all three the way to go?

We analyse our ICT Index and the Opta statistics over the previous four gameweeks, digging deep in order to examine each player’s potential over the hectic Christmas programme…

Who would you captain if you had -

    1. Nani - (Away QPR)
    2. Adebayor - (Home Sunderland)

Surprised at how few votes VDV has got for the captaincy. He's likely to start, he's got a decent fixture and let's face it, he's due a goal.

I've got him captained, but I see Yakubu is higher up in the pole.. As is Ba, both of which I have..

      So I'm still waffling myself

Might have been posted already, but Donovan is going to Everton on loan again from January.

Great news, was a great player to watch! Hopefully he'll be cheap!

Who to play Vorm (new) or Hennessey (STO)? Vorm will surely concede verses Newcastle, but he is super Vorm or Hennessey with the dodgy wolves defence?
