The final fixture of Gameweek 9 sees us pay visit to Stamford Bridge, where Chelsea entertain former manager Jose Mourinho and Man United at 4pm.

The home side have chalked up two straight wins and clean sheets since Antonio Conte switched to a 3-4-3 formation, defeating Hull and Leicester in consecutive Premier League fixtures.

Diego Costa is the Blues’ main threat, having scored or assisted in seven of the Blues’ first eight fixtures.

The Spain international sits just one booking short of a single-match suspension, though it’s worth noting that a caution today would see him sit out the midweek EFL Cup clash with West Ham and free him up to face Southampton in Gameweek 10.

Those who have held onto Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be hoping for signs of a return to form, bearing in mind the Reds then host Burnley next weekend.

The Swede – who is the second most-captained player for Gameweek 9 – has plummeted in price to 11.3 after scoring just one goal in his previous six league outings.

      Most here doubled up Sanchez and Walcott without blinking an eye, surely Pool double up is more justified with the way they're scoring

        Really like this perspective. Wouldn't think twice about a liverpool midfield and forward double up. Shouldn't let the categories put you off. If anything it's a positive to have Firm OOP.

      The signs indicate it'll be a reliable source of points over the next couple of months. LIV's run of fixtures make it likely we won't have to fiddle around with these two with our transfers which is always a bonus.

      I've had Firmino and Mane for 4 weeks and plan on keeping them through GW18.

      They're the best attack in the prem, crazy not to have two imo.

      Have had both Arsenal (Walcott/Sanchez) and Liverpool (Firmino/Coutinho) double ups since gw7. 33 and 35 points combined, so 5.67 ppg for each of the four slots. Pretty happy with it, especially with the nice of 2 extra points every time a CS comes around.

      If I were on a WC, I might actually get Mane and Ozil as an option to replace any of them.

      I've got Mane & Lallana.

      Don't like Firmino in the false 9 position but he's best option when not playing that position.

      Coutinho is great but I fear will get rested after next international break as always plays both games for Brazil where as Firmino is normally on the bench.

      Klopp also usually rests Coutinho when he plays Sturridge as he doesn't like playing them both & you can see why they both shoot every time they get the ball.

      I think Mane is the better one if you're doubling up. Firm and Cout can harm each other a bit, Mane profits more.

      That said, I've had both of them - and Mane - for about four weeks now. And it's going rather well.

      Had Mane/Firmino since week 6 and will stick with them both for a while. Mane probably till ACON starts perhaps. Not sure if you mean having both Firmino AND Coutinho specifically or just 2 Liverpools mids, or perhaps one of those two plus another?

      Have had Firmino and Coutinho since wildcard gw6 and - although other factors occurred - my rank went from 600K to 70K. So personally I think that is a brilliant strategy and Lallana + Mane is just as good. The key thing is to stick to your combo and points will come.

        Cause he's always been on set pieces and has a wicked shot but he usually averages 2.5 ppg. His game vs hull looks like an FPL outlier to his usual trend more than anything else.

        Because most of his threat is from outside the box where a very low percentage of shots are converted. He is great for assists though so arnautovic should benefit from him being fit ( should have had a couple from shaq assists this weekend).
