For those that don’t know me, I go by ‘Goldman’ here on FFScout. I have been a member on this site since the start of last season ,which has led to me meeting lots of new faces and ultimately becoming a much better Fantasy Premier League manager.
I have taken part in a wide variety of community events and tournaments such as Last Man Standing, and the FIFFSA World Cup last season and believe these tournaments really are a great way for people to get involved and feel part of the community.
This brings me to my idea of the Fantasy Football Scout Fifa Football Club (FFS FC).
Many of us football fanatics here on FFSscout need more than just waiting for the weekends to come to watch our favorite club on the TV, while anxiously waiting for our players to produce the goods to help us grab those green arrows. The FFS FC is for those who enjoy playing EA Sports’ Fifa during the week and especially to help us get through those dreadful international breaks.
The idea here is to create a group of all who share the same interest in the game and create leagues and/or tournaments where we can all participate and work towards discovering who the best FIFA player is in the FFScout ranks.
Alongside this idea is the ambition to set up a FFS Pro Club.
For those that don’t know much about Pro Clubs, you basically create a player, pick your position and join the Club and help move up the world rankings as a team. I have created a Club for FFScout members, and only those from the community can join. It’s called FFScout FC and you are all welcome, even if you don’t think you are that great, the idea here is that we can help each other get better and work as a team to rise in the ranks.
Most of us may not be expert Fifa players, and so may feel as though you should avoid playing against others as to not embarrass yourself on the pitch…but the idea here is that it’s all in good fun, to be a part of the community and enjoy the game together, learning with each-other along the way. I’ve been playing Fifa for almost 10 years now and I still can’t say I’m an expert. CPU professionals turn me inside out on a daily basis and I’m sure many of you can relate!
Now, both of these are available for PS4 and Xbox players. I myself only play on PS4 so I along with a few others will be running this group. If this takes off and we can gain enough interest, I’d like to find a few Xbox players to manage that side of the group.
We will have a WhatsApp group for both consoles so getting a game should be pretty straightforward.
