    1FT, 2.1 ITB, what to do?

    Atm, I have probably 2 playing defenders so should I:
    A) Upgrade Amat (was probably gonna do this at some point away) to Friend or could just about afford Alonso
    B) Upgrade Capoue and play all out attack this week- not seeing any great options up to 6.8 though
    C) Something else or take a hit and make a more drastic change

          Alonso seems the obvious choice, he looks like the premium defender to have right now, good CS and attacking returns.

          I'd argue that leaves you with too much spent in defence.

          I'd probably upgrade Smith to Alonso. Bournemouth have some pretty terrible fixtures coming up.

          Otherwise I'd play AOA with Capoue.

    Almost set on this WC team.

    Will the crammed Xmas period approaching is it worth having Evans over Kingsley for double WB def for some games as Kingsley could be dropped at any time. I'll have 1.5 ITB to go lukaku to Kane/Ibra when the time comes.

          Well maybe it's more risky, but I always got the impression that Pulis really likes Brunt. He's got a couple of positions he can play in as well. Plus he's probably got the best attacking threat of any defender in the game right now.

      Similar to mine, also on WC.
      I wouldn't bank on Evans being anymore consistent over the christmas period than Kingsley though, his injury record isn't brilliant.

          Ah fair enough, I went Firminho originally, so if I want the double up I need to pay 8.7m for him, which I was happy to do, but now he's an injury doubt along with Walcott, I'm concerned.

    A combination of suspension, poor cheapie picks (my fault, yes) & injury has left my squad depleted.

          No. Haz and Sanchez are fine, Kingsley will probably play as well.

          If you trade bellerin you only have doubts over Holebas, Love and Cout ( who will prob play and everyone owns him anyway)

      I'm in a similar boat. For what it's worth, I'm considering a hit or two to sort the squad long term. You could do something like Bellerin and kingsley/Love to Alonso and Pieters.

      I expect Kingsley, Hazard and Sanchez to play.
      Holebas, and Coutinho are fine as a longer term option so keep them around.
      Bellerin is an easy swap because of his price.

      Most people are in the same boat mate.

      those both look like solid moves to me.

      austin/defoe depends on whether or not you have a strong midfield 5 in GW12. from next GW austin is definitely the choice over defoe, i'd say.

      Coutinho has a chance of starting. But even if he doesn't start he could show up from the bench. I think you should wait till tomorrow before making any moves. And if you can field a staring 11 without hits that would be a huge differential.
