Gameweek 18 rolls on this evening as Liverpool welcome Stoke to Anfield in a 5.15pm kick-off.

Owned by over 21% of Fantasy Premier League managers, Sadio Mane’s home form suggests he’s the man most likely to wreak havoc against the Potters – the Senegal international has scored or assisted in six of seven Anfield appearances since arriving from Southampton over the summer.

Divock Origi, with goals in all but one of the last five Gameweeks, retains his starting berth, with Jurgen Klopp set to unleash Daniel Sturridge from the bench once again.

Roberto Firmino also keeps his place as he attempts to end a run of six straight blanks.

For the Potters, Joe Allen is the form player – he’s bagged a goal and assist in the last three Gameweeks as he prepares to face his former club for the first time since moving to the bet365.

Between the posts, Lee Grant has produced at least one save point in each of the last four and should be kept busy again as the hosts look for the win that would see them leapfrog Man City into second.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Guessing it was just one word that I used which adults can't deal with in passing as an example. It wasn't offensive or anything, but it's frustrating, as a lazy human, to spend time writing even just 100-200 words, when that effort is lost, especially when you didn't expect it or understand why.

Thanks for the reply, but it wasn't a swear word. I guess I'll have to stick to murder as an example instead of the touching of children inappropriately, which as a more vivid description, is much worse than the perfectly sensible word that encapsulates the concept without having to descibe it each time! Haha. Oh well, I'm just bitter to have not known the word was banned and therefore losing my good work!

  5. Will Boro be able to stop Ibra?

Middlesbrough's record vs the current top 6:

    Tottenham (H): 1-2
    Arsenal (A): 0-0
    Man City (A): 1-1
    Chelsea (H): 0-1
    Liverpool (H): 0-3

    Games: 5
    Goals scored: 2
    Goals conceded: 7

Apart from the Liverpool game, they've been tight. Especially away from home. They come with the mindset of damage control from the very start. It's likely they will go to one of the biggest stadium in the league and keep it as tight as possible.

Fresh and no doubt hungry after his ban.
Stoke just got hammered and will have only 4 days rest.
They have a home game 3 days later against Watford; they might rotate with this in mind.

What Firmino done was poor. He isn't the first, and won't be the last. Until the FA start banning players, not much will happen.

It's life. Everyone drinks, everyone makes mistakes. It doesn't mean you can't learn from it, or ever be happy again for doing your job well.

Personally I'm not too bothered about what the club does, it's the justice system that should punish him so harshly that he isn't even available to play for the club anyway. Take the decision away from them.

^This. If you or I drunk drove, I'd bet that our bosses would not force us on vacation without pay. But at least where I live, drunk driving is too leniently sanctioned in the courts - although I don't blame the judges, they follow the law, which should sanction drunk driving much harsher.

I'd say most workplaces don't suspend their employees for having been arrested for drunk driving. In fact, most bosses wouldn't know about it in the first place, unless the employee has hit somebody. After being sentenced, maybe.

I totally agree. I have lost very close friends to drink driving. I had two friends both die in an accident 17 years ago, the third friend in the car is now paralysed. I lost another two friends about 14 years ago, again drink driving. Identified by dental records, no joke. I also have a friend who is currently doing 4 to 6 years for causing death by dangerous driving for killing an 18 year old girl in a head on. People are ****ing stupid and in the end deserve every thing they get for it. Punishments given out by the courst are not harsh enough in my eyes. If you kill yourself then its your own ****ing fault.

And the courts should make sure that Firminio has to do community service every weekend so he misses club games and internationals. The book should be well and truly thrown at him.

Exactly this. While it would be 'nice' for the club to not play him ( I don't actually mean nice, but you get what I'm saying), they are under no obligation, moral or otherwise. I say take the decision out of their hands and remove him from being selected either by him being in jail or as you say doing community service.

First driving offence usually just a ban and fine so won't affect, unless he gets done on more charges than just drinking under the influence. We don't know much about the circumstances of his arrest. He could have been sat in his car with the keys in for all we know, even if the papers say he was 'stopped'. That all usually comes from one source, and that source could be word of mouth.

I know he's primarily used as a 3-5-2 enabler on the bench, but I'll need him in the next GW (if I decide to go that way). How nailed is he in Moyeses system and what are the chances of him playing both next game and further down the line?

Janmaat probably going to drop tonight so I need to make a defensive move....Thinking Brunt but Ake, Dann and maybe even Holgate are alternative options, any views ? Backline is currently

Alonso, Cedric, Pieters, Amat, Janmaat *

That feels sensible but injury record is a worry and with Brunt he is usually playing OOP so it's like having an additional mid, even when he doesn't play in the midfield he is on set pieces so his attacking threat makes him very appealing, plus West Brom fixtures look very nice soon so CS potential.
