The festive fixture list finally draws to its conclusion this evening as Tottenham Hotspur welcome Chelsea to White Hart Lane at 8pm.

Four of the top seven captains for Gameweek 20 – Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alexis Sanchez, Sergio Aguero and Romelu Lukaku – have already found the net earlier in the week.

The remaining three, Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and Harry Kane, have it all to do, then, with Costa the most popular of that trio – 11.6% have backed the Spain international, compared to Hazard (4.7%) and Kane’s 2.8%.

Costa, certainly, has been the more impressive of the Chelsea pair on his travels – the Spain international has scored eight away goals compared to Hazard’s two.

Yet the league leaders won’t have it easy – Spurs boast the tightest home defence in the top-flight, with just five goals against in front of their own fans.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have been similarly resilient, conceding just one goal in six away matches since Antonio Conte switched to a 3-4-3 set-up.

Nonetheless, many Fantasy managers will be keeping a keen eye on Kane along with Deli Alli and Christian Eriksen, with the fixtures set to smile kindly on Spurs from Gameweek 21 onwards.

Is it worth going Walcott to Alli for a -4? Held on to Walcott this long so not sure whether I should now sell him, may be dropping again tonight.

True. If Wally starts and dominates once back I can always go Lallana to Wally for potentially .1. Which could work out as Arsenals fixtures are slightly easier than Liverpools in the near future. Just kicking myself that I didn't go Wally to Alli when Wally got injured at 7.9 and Alli was 8.1 :/

    Which looks better (for -4):
    A: Haz & Origi > Alli & Giroud

In your case Alli will outscore Zaha, in mine I'd fancy him too which is Hazard, no room for sentiment-points only.
I may be wrong but fundamentally I believe in my case anyway Hazard needs to go and I need a replacement,
Hello Alli and a few upgrades in defence, I'm calling it balance-you should consider this too Parm.

This is the right move. Statistically speaking it's unlikely Alli delivers double digits again. Especially against WBA & MCI. I see WBA as a trap game. 0-0 or even a loss could be in the cards.

Also, form goes out the window now with 10 days before the next PL game. Everyone's form resets, IMO. Alli (or others on your team) could also get injured during FA/League Cup games.

Knee Jerk transfers done but I'm happy with them.

Controversially, I've kept Siggy over Lallana.

Never really settled on Lallana and just like Siggy's involvement for Swansea - only 13 points between them despite Lallana's form. Plus it meant I could go for Rose over Vertonghen who, for me, offers that bit more. And yes, I'm aware that Rose is on 8 bookings.

    So...

Azpi > Rose and Lallana > Alli

Waste of transfers IMO. You're chasing points. Keeping Siggy was a good move though. He's a season keeper. Lallana has been awesome and for 7ish he's also a season keeper -- you get share of Liverpool points for a discount. Looking at your team, I would have ditched Hazard and upgraded Anichebe, but good luck.

Stay strong. He was never likely to produce against Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Dier, Wanyama, Dembele, Walker and Rose. Probably the best back 7 in the league. He now has Leicester and Hull who will struggle to track him.

Because of captaincy I strongly believe that..

Mixing between 2 of Kun/Kane/Ibra and Defoe

Will give you a far higher overall rank than...

1 of Kun/Kane/Ibra and Costa and Defoe

You can even use the 2m saved between Costa and Kun to upgrade elsewhere.

    1. MTPockets
        9 years, 23 days ago

5/11 of Defoe's goals have been penalties. Holding him demands patience, and no interest in switching around for optimisation. I don't have that patience.

Hazard + Carroll--> Ali + Defoe (-4).... Yes or no?

I have Costa and no other Spurs cover if that makes a difference.

Is Hazard likely to drop by the next game week?

Hope so. I haven't owned him since GW6 but will be tempted at that price for Hull at home

I've gone Pedro. Today's game showed that Conte trusts him. I thought Willian might have started. You'd have thought Pedro would start against Hull at least.

Shall I do Heaton > Mannone/Hennessey (Allardyce) in order to fund Allen > Alli? Have Grant as my other keeper

          Alonso + Siggy -> Baines + Alli (-4)?

          or just Siggy -> Walcott/Sterling/Lallana

          Have Eriksen

Really not sure what to do here... already used my Ft by loads of issues need addressing (benteke, siggy, holbas, hazard??)

          0.9itb 0Ft
          Grant
          Alonso jones holbas
          Siggy Phillips Sanchez hazard
          Costa benteke Ibra

          Foster de roon Amat Evans

Surely benteke will be for by next game, and he has a great run? Can't quite do siggy to alli, would need to take a -8 and swap holbas for ake...

          Any ideas?
