For the first time in the league this season, Yossi Benayoun is named in the starting eleven for the home side, whilst the visitors – playing with a lone striker today – hand a Premier League debut to 18-year-old winger Anthony Forde.

            Dempsey will be one of the top 6 scoring midfielders at the end of the season. He's way more of a goal threat than Mata.

            I know but I rather have Sturridge than Mata for Chelsea cover. I would never have both. Demspey scores 50% of Fulham's goals and looking at upcoming matches for the second half of the season he looks very promising. And yes I think Dempsey gives better value.

    Its amazing how competitive people on here are about the fantasy cup! Its totally random, luck plays a big part, no bragging rights with those you may beat, yet we all ( myself included) HATE losing!!

    Been having a very much average season... been keeping faith rather than moving players in, poor captain choices and most crucially missed the boat on RVP when he was 11.9, agonisingly watched him deliver & rise and have been reticent to bring in him (at least until the Jan WC, after Wenger's chosen the game to rest him in). However I can still retain my cash league title and advice will be welcome....

    Jones, Kompany, Enrique (Brown, Gabbidon)
    Nani, Walters, Silva, Mata (Dyer)
    Sturridge, Adebayor, Suarez

    I have 2 free transfers. Was thinking of holding fire this weekend & then Walters & Suarez > VDV & Yakubu. Both have a decent run of fixtures + the spurs double. Rivals have Bale, so VDV + Ade seems like my best weapon. Everton players don't really appeal. Baines would be nice but too pricey & Drenthe looks tasty (and I could do Mata & Suarez > Drenthe & RVP) but gametime & Everton's lack of goals puts me off (along with Mata's fixtures). Equally worrying is VDV's hamstring and Blackburn finding a result... any other ideas?
