Dugout Discussion – Crystal Palace vs Arsenal

Gameweek 32 concludes at Selhurst Park as Crystal Palace – with victories in four of their last five Premier League matches – look to maintain their recent revival against London rivals Arsenal.

Sam Allardyce’s’ Eagles have kept clean sheets in their last two home outings but a shut-out looks unlikely this evening: they face an Arsenal side who have scored in each of their previous twenty matches in the Premier League, with key Fantasy asset Alexis Sanchez a big factor in that statistic.

The Chilean has notched 12 goals and supplied five assists on the road this season – more than any other player – and is backed by 309,000+ or 7% with the captaincy this evening.

He’s supported by an in-form Theo Walcott, with the FPL midfielder boasting goals in back-to-back Gameweeks as he bids to provide us with a cheaper alternative to Sanchez. Impressively, Walcott has scored 18 goals from his last 23 starts in all competitions.

    Vardy, Sanchez, Ake > Kane, Couts, Jagielka

    Nice fixtures for Vardy and Sanchez, but I could free up some space ITB.

            Both my ML rivals no longer have Sanchez and probably can't afford to get him back...and that's the only reason I was able to sell him.

            He's fantastic and will come good again but he may as well be playing on Mats now as far as my ML goes.

    a) Aguero + Antonio -> Kane + Erkisen. this gets in eriksen for BOU so is a big plus

    c) Aguero + Siggy -> Kane + JWP then for 34 I can afford Llorente -> Ibra. This doesn't address the injured Antonio problem but by that point can probably wait until WC

    If Arsenal fail to win tonight a top 4 finish is virtually impossible.

    I guess this is where my support for Arsene Wenger ends. Despite the lack of domestic trophies and European success I always believed we'll finish in the top 4 and above Spurs.

    Neither will happen this season. We are now truly a mediocre club.
