Gameweek 36 finally comes to an end this evening as Southampton entertain Arsenal at St Maryโ€™s.

Alexis Sanchez will again be the focus of most managersโ€™ attentions. Sitting in over 27% of FPL squads, the Chilean was the most captained player (11.2%) in the round of fixtures but a blank at home to Man United in his first match of Double Gameweek 36 means he has now netted just once in seven league appearances.

Meanwhile, his team-mate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain looks to add to a pair of assists in the 2-0 weekend win over Jose Mourinhoโ€™s side. The Gunnersโ€™ wing-back has been drafted in by over 15,000 FPL managers this week for a Double Gameweek 37 against Stoke and Sunderland.

For the Saints, Manolo Gabbiadini was the fourth most transferred in player ahead of last weekโ€™s deadline, with over 108,000 taking the plunge.

Yet a blank against Liverpool took his run to one assist in five, as Claude Puelโ€™s defence racked up the points at Anfield instead thanks to a fourth clean sheet in seven.

Thanks to his spot-kick stop away to Liverpool, the Saints’ Fraser Forster leads the way among the Double Gameweek contingent on 16 points ahead of tonightโ€™s 7.45pm encounter.

    Lot of foreign managers
    All trying to play some low risk,high percentage ball possesion games
    With players not used to/not able to play that kind of games
    Not enough quality
    Result---> 1 of the worst pl seasons I remember

        When in god's name did I say that I don't make my own decisions? I'm saying I was convinced, and I'm not ashamed of that as these forums have a lot of great minds in them. I just think next season my big goal will be to trust my instinct a little more.

      Swings and roundabouts. If I'd have followed the crowd on here for the first 25-30 GWs I wouldn't have been 1M+ most of the season. But now that I am giving the comments here more respect I'm missing out on points I would have gotten if I gave myself more respect. I understand the frustration, but as people say, it's your decision.

      Hahaha that's my BB in 36.
      Triple captain in 37.
      But I fear the same bench in 37 will also do ok.
      It's a risk I took hoping sanchez would be average.
      Oh the nerves will end up killing me, by the end of gw37 I'll know if I gambled right or wrong

      But picking a player that plays all or most of the 2 matches is tricky.
      BB in 37 does not look that great. Its not like you have a full bench of dgw'ers.
      Bench boost 38 then.
      I could be wrong. I just think there's more points in a double gameweek triple captain
