The first of seven days of double Gameweek 37 action gets underway at Goodison Park this evening as Everton take on Watford in the 7.45pm kick-off.

Sold by more Fantasy Premier League managers than any player since last Friday’s deadline, the Toffees’ Romelu Lukaku looks to extend his three-goal lead over Harry Kane in the race for this season’s Golden Boot.

The Belgian collected 3% of votes in our Captain Poll – more than any single-Gameweek player – and has already returned 12 points against the Hornets back in December.

Chelsea head to The Hawthorns for an 8pm kick-off knowing that a win over West Brom would clinch the Premier League crown.

Essentially, we’re looking for the Baggies to do us a favour and keep the title race alive, forcing Antonio Conte to field his big-hitters in Monday’s plum home clash against Watford and giving Spurs extra incentive in their final match at the Lane against Man United on Sunday.

Despite those concerns over potential rotation, both Eden Hazard (14%) and Diego Costa (9%) found a place in the top five of our Captain Poll – the latter is second only to Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus for transfers in this week on the back of three goals and as many assists in his last five outings.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Depends on what's left to play for of course.I may go this with 2free transfers:
              Hazard Sanchez Alli Sane
              Batsuayi Sturridge Jesus (c)
Bats and Sturridge in just for a laugh.

I can see Liverpool bottling it tbh and I think Boro will want to leave the Premiership with some bit of dignity left and will just sit back and hope they don't concede. I'd scratch Coutinho and go with Fab or Vardy tbh

As a Pool fan how gauling will it be to know the only chance of CL will be for utd to win Europa. I hope it does not come to that.

It was a shame. Would've been a nice six points.
Couple players in my ML had double Everton defence! Baines and Williams.

Incredibly tight in my mini league.

20 points separating top to 6th

    I've captained Sanchez.
One who's 5 points ahead has also.
One who is further behind has him triple captained.

One has captained KDB. Was hoping he'd be a differential.

    One has captained Jesus.

There only differential for me. Is Kane!!!
So I hope he smashes it!!!

Agree. But by taking a hit I'll have
        Hazard Alli king firmino. Sane
        Jesus llorente Kane

Cahill and alonso at the back . Defenders who'll be benched. - holgate, Stephens, Maguire

    Does HoF live update?

For example, join FFS league couple days ago, so will I be in HoF already?

You wouldn't be added until after the GW has finished.

The HoF doesn't seem to have been updated for a couple of GW's now though.

Yes he gets paid as a professional footballer so technically there is no reason why he could not actually play football - it's the getting paid for it bit I find weird.

BB for next week - silly imo. You should be OK assuming that this week is not too damaging. Coincidentally I was chasing 41 before yesterday .... up to 49 now.

No, t'other way around I reckon. They'll want o celebrate in style in 38 will a full squad but there will be early withdrawals for the likes of Hazard etc. Purely based on my gut feeling, nothing else.

    4. Jafooli

Why risk star players with FA Cup to play. For me it's as much about injury prevention than anything.

Courtois, Alonso, Cahill, Azpil, Luiz, Hazard all to get reduced minutes. Possibly Costa also.

True, but aren't injuries more likely when players push themselves in two games juts three days apart? I'd be surprised if the likes of Bat, Zouma and even Ake don't feature on Monday.

Agreed......I reckon reduced minutes in both games.....

Azpil would want to play...hasn't missed a single minute up to now. Surely Conte will allow him that honour. (One of the reasons I got him, not Cahill in this week).

      Team for Watford and Sunderland:

No chance he gives the players a 2 week break. They'll be rusty as he'll and Arsenal will have played 3 very competitve games in the meantime.

If he gives them 2 weeks, they'll get complacent and start feeling like they're on holidays. You can't honestly believe he rests them for 2 weeks. Sunderland game will be an exhibition match in front of the home fans on the last day of the season where they lift the trophy. They won't be killing themselves, just keeping fresh. One or 2 nil up and they'll just sit back and pass the ball around for the last hour and enjoy the atmosphere, getting me tally prepared for the buzz of the FA Cup final

      • 10 Years

I think they rest against Watford. Makes more sense to give them an 8 day break and a 5 day break than it does to give them a 2 day break and an 11 day break.

I'd just like to say a special Thanks to Marcus Alonso. After signing him before for 5.9m before scoring his 1st Premier League goal with the League Champions, he's been a treat sitting in at left back of my FPL team.

His 13ptr the week after I signed him brought a smile to my face. His 21ptr brought tears of joy to my eyes after so many non-believers deserted him.

His run of no clean sheets was ignorable due to his 2 assists and goal and countless chances, some cracking the goal posts and more efforts inches wide.

Another goal, 2 clean sheets and 4 bonus over the last 180 minutes, he has once again, confirmed his status as the best asset in my team all season.

    So thank you MA..

I don't think I ever considered losing him through the lack of CS. Even on WC I nver co side red swapping him out.
FPL better not go and reclassify him next year as a mid.
