      if i were you, i'd keep making small changes and then WC for GW24.

      you can use the 3 TOT cover for a few weeks but try to bring in more MCI (Silva or Aguero)

        excatly my plan... on paper, i think my team is OK for the next couple of weeks aside from some tweaking, but the balance swings GW24 for certainly the next 4-6 GW (Utd & Spurs cover from GW28/29 is where it's at for me). I'd take SABG's advice and hold fire.

      Kicked (Drenthe)
      Based on the fact that Donovan only got 2 goals/3 assists in 10 games for Everton last time round (which is not a bad effort) whereas Drenthe, when starting, seems like he could get a monster score each week. Added to the fact he is has the rare Free-kick and corner.
      Although if I chose one for my team, it'd be Donovan. Drenthe is a better FF player but too unreliable for minutes.

        That's a good point. I'd think Donovan is pretty much guaranteed alot of game time. Not that I want any Everton players in my team at the end of this gameweek, but still.

        That's most people's opinion. We completely and utterly capitulated though for those last 3 goals and the 2 goals before that were conceded with 10 men. You never know in the cup... and especially since it won't be Ando and Fletch in central midfield this time AND Yaya Toure won't be there either 🙂

          I know. But in all honesty it was the only logical thing to do, I mean Newcastle against Utd I didn't want any Newcastle defence. Ward against CHelsea, who could predict that. Same with Dyer against Spurs.

      Prob won't offer you the wc option until you go above youe allotted fts, ie two or more.

      I just did mine without a problem.

      Change two or three and see. You can always hit cancel.

    Any Mata owners out there? What are your plans? With a WC available I'm sorely tempted to get rid, with VDV/Stevie G/Dempsey/Walters/Sess the main competitors for his midfield spot in my squad.

    I've kept faith with him since GW5, but FPL wise, he isn't delivering the points you'd expect from a 10m midfielder. I also have Studge for Chelsea coverage... such a shame as the wee man is a genius of a player, just not greedy enough for FPL!

    The wildcard doesn't seem to be working just yet. Made a transfer for gameweek 21 and it didn't give me the wildcard option. Also my points total in the Cup went down by 4 points. Anyone else experienced this problem?

      Lol. The only way your points total in the cup went down 4 points is because you took a 4 point hit this week.
      Also, when you're on the 'confirm transfers' page, a warning comes on telling you "it'll subtract -4 from your total you have a WC availbale yadah yadah yadah" so just click play Wildcard.

          No great mids, really?
          Lamps & Fabregas were so abnormally high priced & they scored 250+ for the season.
          Nani, Silva & Bale are in contention to do the same at 9.5-10 mil & 8 mil in case of Bale.

          IMO this is the season of these upcoming mids of the league. Lamps, Stevie G & Cesc have all moved on.

            theyll be in my team when i use my 2nd wildcard but the fixtures for spurs n utd arent great until i do. silva is the only one id consider at the moment from those 3

              Spurs' fixtures from 24-30 are miserable. I'll be going without any of their players for that stretch.

              Plus I'm pretty sure they will tail off massively in the second half of the season. Lack of rotation and injuries will catch up with them, the signs are already there.

      He'll probably be in my wildcard team - for week 24, although I may keep Koscielny instead. Not sure if Vermaelen is worth the extra 1.2 million.

      lol , 3 of your midfield players are 2 points catchers (moses,johnson,dyer), Mb downgroade one of your GK for Sorensen , and Ade to sturidge. Ade is fail player anyway.
