Excess baggage checked in, deckchairs reserved and sun block applied – the Scoutcast team are all ready to hit the beach.

Smack in the middle of Gameweek 37, with points flowing from all angles, not even Hal Robson Kanu’s late goal can upset the pre-vacation mood.

Stringing five men across the midfield, Luke and Az join Jonty, Andy and myself for a bumper end of season episode as we tackle another volley of questions from you, the community.

We conduct a post-mortem on the flurry of chips, weigh up the Gameweek 38 punts, put together our final day Wildcard XI and take a look back on our own personal highs and lows of a topsy-turvy season.

After 128 minutes of that lot and sunstroke already setting in, we even forget to chat captains and transfers come the end, only to make amends later.

    Hello!

    Could really use some advice. So I've been chasing my casual ML rival all season and thanks to Kane I have gone from 40 behind to about 3 in front...

    My team is

    Cabellero
    Alonso Monreal
    Sanchez Alli Hazard King Sane
    Jesus Kane Anichebe

    Pickford Stephens Yoshida Vertonghen

    Thinking of using my AOA. He has the same team except for Cab, Kane and Monreal as he has a much worse team value.

    Swap Hazard and Anichebe for Coutinho and Llorente for a - 4? Or just the first and don't use AOA?

    Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

      Just the first, you have plenty of good defensive options on your bench, it's a forced AOA rather than a necessity

    I have one of those fisherman tales. I was trailing by 100+ but over last few weeks caught up and passed the ML leader by 5pts. He had an unlucky week with rotations. Don;t care about OR, just want to win ML and it is basically between e and him unless there is a freak week

    Advise on my transfer(s). Only one free FT
    FT: Reckon it's Alli to Coutinho or Lukaku to Sturridge. Or should I try and snuff out some of his defensive differentials?
    Captain: Sanchez, Kane (or Coutinho)?
    Bench look right?

    Man a mega cash ML I'm in is going to the wire, 3 point lead going into GW38!

    My team is ok, but the major concerns is Gabbiadini, JWP and if Hazard/Alli will start.
    Rival has KDB, King, Vardy as major differentials to my Hazard, Eriksen, Kane.

    Which way should I go:
    A. Hazard + Alli > KDB (Cover his KDB differential) + Coutinho (-4) [start Gabb or JWP eek]
    B. Hazard + Gabbiadini > Coutinho + Giroud (-4) [3-4-3]
    C. Alli + JWP > Coutinho + King (Cover his King differential) (-4) [bench Gabb 3-5-2]

          nobody knows... there are arguments for both scenarios. for example: the 2 week gap for Costa if he doesn't play might hurt his match fitness for the final.

            Yeah, that's the worry, hits can pay off in a dgw, other times unless it's an obvious move tends not to pay off. The player you are bringing in has to score/assist with the other player you are selling blanking just for you to break even.

            Depends on what you are chasing. Id rather go out swinging if its between getting paid in a ML or placing a 3-4k lower in OR. If you have chance to win something, why not take a hit or two!
