Excess baggage checked in, deckchairs reserved and sun block applied – the Scoutcast team are all ready to hit the beach.

Smack in the middle of Gameweek 37, with points flowing from all angles, not even Hal Robson Kanu’s late goal can upset the pre-vacation mood.

Stringing five men across the midfield, Luke and Az join Jonty, Andy and myself for a bumper end of season episode as we tackle another volley of questions from you, the community.

We conduct a post-mortem on the flurry of chips, weigh up the Gameweek 38 punts, put together our final day Wildcard XI and take a look back on our own personal highs and lows of a topsy-turvy season.

After 128 minutes of that lot and sunstroke already setting in, we even forget to chat captains and transfers come the end, only to make amends later.

    I read the phrase Go Clean On alot on here. Is it a compliment or a mild insult because confusingly I've seen it used in both contexts. Maybe sometimes said sarcastically?

    And yes I did Google it but clearly its far too niche...

    What to blame if I dont finish top 50k this season

    A) Tottenham for loosing to West Ham

    Oh my .. waking up to this 🙂 Kane absolutely destroying his doubters. All my ML rivals sold him, only regret is not giving him the armband but honestly didn't fancy this 31 pointer coming. Having a front 3 of Kane, Jesus & Giroud really helped. Phew!!

    Well it's been my worst season for various reasons, e.g. not going with gut instinct and doubting decisions (late captain changes) has probably cost a decent finish but look like salvaging a top 70k finish after a couple of decent game weeks.

    I have one of those fisherman tales. I was trailing by 100+ but over last few weeks caught up and passed the ML leader by 5pts. He had an unlucky week with rotations. Don't care about OR, just want to win ML and it is basically between me and him unless there is a freak week

    Advise on my transfer(s). Only one free FT
    FT: Reckon it's Alli to Coutinho or Lukaku to Sturridge. Or should I try and snuff out some of his defensive differentials?

    Captain: Sanchez, Kane (or Coutinho)?

    Using final FT of the season on a GW - sense or madness?
    Eriksen has had his rest so I might just have to keep him now the way Spurs are playing! I was thinking Eriksen to Coutinho but it doesnt look such a good move now?
    How about using my FT on Cech to Mignolet for some LIV defensive cover?

      Already used my FT to bring Coutinho in for Hazard. De Gea probably won't play, but it doesn't matter since Pickford will probably make loads of saves against Chelsea. However I am debating taking a hit:

      A) Alli -> KdB
      B) Alli -> Fabregas
      C) Alli -> Ozil
      D) Lukaku -> Sturridge (and bench Alli)
      E) Lukaku -> Vardy (and bench Alli)
      F) Don't take a hit

            It's either: bench Alli, Eriksen, King or Sane.

            Eriksen is more creative than Alli and has more set-piece duties. King has scored an unbelievable amount of goals this calendar year. Sane has been looking more threatening lately and Watford will be without Prodl. So that means if I bring in Sturridge for Lukaku, I'm going to bench Alli.

          I have a wildcard for the final gameweek as missed the deadline the past two weeks. I'm top of my league by 15 points. Was thinking of this team as can only use starting 11:

          Heaton / Pope
          Davies / Yoshida / Lovren / Ake / Mawson
          Sanchez (v) / Coutinho / King / Carroll / Sigurdsson +0.3mil (or Sane 0 mil)
          Jesus / Vardy / Kane (c)

          any suggestions for improvements much appreciated !

          My rival has Mawson, King, De Bruyne, Costa, Lukaku, Benteke - worth matching him for any of those?

              will match him on Mawson, King as can't see him changing but slight fear he'll risk hits to change Benteke and/or De Bruyne for differentials.

            Sigurdsson more nailed on than Sané but SNe is probably more likely to score. Swamsea might have a bit of a party now that they've stayed up, and West Brom at home seems like the team to do it against

          Is it wise to take a -8 for Niasse, Allí, Courtois --> Giroud, Coutinho, Pickford?
          Fixture wise it looks good and The GKs will be benched anyway so I'm relatively sure that the three new players will get at least 8 points more than the old ones.
