Excess baggage checked in, deckchairs reserved and sun block applied – the Scoutcast team are all ready to hit the beach.

Smack in the middle of Gameweek 37, with points flowing from all angles, not even Hal Robson Kanu’s late goal can upset the pre-vacation mood.

Stringing five men across the midfield, Luke and Az join Jonty, Andy and myself for a bumper end of season episode as we tackle another volley of questions from you, the community.

We conduct a post-mortem on the flurry of chips, weigh up the Gameweek 38 punts, put together our final day Wildcard XI and take a look back on our own personal highs and lows of a topsy-turvy season.

After 128 minutes of that lot and sunstroke already setting in, we even forget to chat captains and transfers come the end, only to make amends later.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

        Not sure - regardless, gonna be a C-side and Palace have done well against the bigger teams. Expect Zaha, Benteke to cause us alot of trouble.

        Looking for a cheapish defensive enabler for A and it just happens I have 4.8 budget for it. Lovren seems to fit.

    Cech / Caballero
    Monreal / Stephens / Alonso (Vertonghen Holgate)
    Pedro / Hazard / Sanchez / Eriksen / King
    Kane / Jesus (Anichebe)

    was thinking of taking a -4 for Pedro Hazard Eriksen out, with KDB Coutinho Fabregas in.

      You'd think Coutinho and Sanchez are shoe ins given what's at stake.

      Kane's 4 goals have thrown a spanner in the works. Previously, he was goal shy away from home but after last night, Hull may find it hard to keep him out.

    I know how it works but I have to say... there's something very wrong with FPL's price rise / fall structure when for instance, someone like Giroud scoring a dozen or so goals and getting over 100 points falls £1m from starting value to £8m while someone like Sturridge who's been pretty much absent the entire season only drops £0.4m to £9.6m

      Boro got 2 against City. I wouldn't say Liverpool are guaranteed a clean sheet by any means. Go with the attacker imo, especially if it means losing Gabbi. Your defence should be good enough this week for the week that's in it

      All depends who he has in his favour. Captain Kane and hope he expends again.

      Unlikely, but not impossible. Those are handy players to have in your favour.

    Caballero
    Alonso Vert Monreal
    Sanchez KDB Eriksen King
    King Jesus Gabbi

    Cech Stephens Ndidi Holgate

    Best course of actions?

    A: Gabbi -> Origi/Llorente/Vokes
    B: Gabbi, Ndidi -> Anichebe, Fabregas (352) (-4)
    C: Vert/Monreal -> Matip
    D: X -> Coutinho

    Cheers.

      Go for Vokes. Nice differential for the final day.

        Gabbi is the worst player in your team so I wouldn't risk dropping anyone tbh

    Will ydya's Kane performance wake Lukaku out of his slumber and reignite the Golden Boot race?
    It could be a goal fest at Arsenal, if Lukaku finds motivation from somewhere, esp when we consider that Sanchez himself is also in that race...

    Who is everybody punting on this last GW?

    Im thinking Sturridge, Llorente, Coutinho (would be common tho)

      Not for captain, I hope.
      But otherwise, Llorente is a good call I feel. Proabably needs a performance to secure a summer transfer move or a hefty pay raise

      Waiting to see if there's any hot on Alli playing or not. Coutinho or Fabregas if I think he won't.. DeGea to Heaton otherwise, don't feel I need to punt, benching Tekkers currently which I'm not too happy about

    Will Azpi deliver more than 4 points this week ahead of Tom Carroll?

    Thx you.

      Potentially, yes. Azpi has a good chance of a CS against Sun at home.
      Carroll doesnt get into attack much.

      I wouldn't have thought so. Needs an Azpi goal or assist to do that probably.
