The final Gameweek of the season sees the conclusion of our two Premier League cup competitions. Here we reveal who has made it through the finals as well as the managers competing in the third place play-off matches.

K3lviN took giant killing to new levels to book his seat in our open to all cup final, after seeing off 134 ranked Live Hall of Fame top ten manager My Pretty Pony (aka Peter Kouewenberg). This 80,381 ranked manager’s sensational score of 199 proved too much for Peter’s 180 return in Gameweek 37.

He will meet another Goliath in the final after 740 ranked Sleepysi defeated Choppers13 in his semi-final.

Of the pair K3lviN has the experience of pressure, having finished 2012/13 second in the overall rankings. Sleepysi’s top 10,000 ranking in 2013/14 also means he is no stranger to impressive end of season runs.

In terms of key differentials, Sleepysi has Spurs’ Christian Eriksen, who should start away to Hull City on Sunday after was rested against Leicester City last night. He will also be hoping for an Arsenal clean sheet, at home to Everton, with Petr Cech expected to be fielded by Sleepysi alongside Nacho Monreal, who is owned by both.

For K3lviN he has Southampton’s Nathan Redmond, Leroy Sane of Manchester City and Spurs full-back Ben Davies as his main differentials.

Chelsea’s teamsheet could prove decisive, with Sleepysi stocked up with Eden Hazard, Marcos Alonso and Pedro, while his opponent has Cesar Azpilicueta as well as the Blues’ Belgian schemer.

With two free transfers to play it remains to be seen whether they will make dramatic changes. Philippe Coutinho may be one key target ahead of Liverpool’s home clash with Middlesbrough. The Brazilian could also offer a strong differential armband option.

With a £200 Amazon voucher to the winner and £100 to the runner-up, risks may need to be taken.

There’s a £50 voucher up for grabs for the winner of Choppers13 and My Pretty Pony’s third place play off.

In the Members Cup aspern goes through the final by the closest of margins, with his 2890 rank proving the difference after both he and his 4120 placed semi-final opponent Dynamic scored 175.

He will meet 8122 ranked Malaikat Jahad, who had a far easier semi-final, seeing off Barwood 196-171.

Of the Members Cup’s two finalists, Malaikat is the more seasoned veteran, with two top 10,000 finishes in his previous nine seasons. In contrast, aspern is in his third campaign and has yet to finish in the top 100,000.

Both only have one transfer to play and aspern may be tempted to use it to ditch Southampton’s misfiring striker Manolo Gabbiadini, who netted zero points in double Gameweek 37 after a no-show and missed penalty. Aspern’s key differentials include Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, Eriksen, Bournemouth’s in-form midfielder Josh King and Leicester City’s Marc Albrighton.

For Malaikat he will be hoping his differentials Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas, Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne and Tottenham duo Heung-Min Son, and Dele Alli will be more than a match.

As with our open to all contest, the winner of this final will scoop a £200 Amazon voucher, with £100 going to the runner up.

A £50 voucher is available to the winner of Barwood and Dynamic’s play off.

Good luck to all those involved and if you would like more information on the schedule and prizes click this link.

Chasing down ML leader 10 points ahead of me, and looking for advice on best use of my 2FT...

    Caballero
    Alonso Monreal* Yoshida
    Sanchez Hazard Alli Pedro* King
    Kane Jesus

    Pickford Stephens Daniels* Anichebe*

(* indicates my differentials compared to leader. His are Kompany, Bailly, Zaha and Gabbiadini)

I suspect he has used his one (and only) FT doing Hazard to Coutinho. Should I do the same to cancel it out? It would leave me with £2m in the bank for a second transfer. Also have AoA as an option.

    Any advice appreciated!

Your teams are really that similar? Crazy.

Maybe do the one you mentioned then upgrade Anichebe to someone like Vokes?

Yeah, it's been really close over the last few GWs. If only I had picked Davies over Daniels on my WC, I might be level now!

I'd thought of Vokes... is he nailed on to start? And I'd be using AoA to accommodate him, and drop a defender. Yoshida, I guess and hope Southampton concede.

Swap Hazard for Cout then one of your sot defenders to a spurs one. Better chance of a CS there imo plus Bavies has assist potential agains Hull. Have your remaining sot defender first sub so that if Alli or Pedro don't play he will at least come in and match your opponents Yoshi.

Cheers, I really like this. Instead of a Sot defender I could ship Daniels to afford anyone from Spurs. Though Bavies is probably still the one with the most attacking potential. Or I could get a Liverpool defender.... I shall mull over this tomorrow...

Yep you could also consider swapping Daniels for Matip who I think has also been threatening of late on set pieces and play him instead of Yoshi

Just had a look at Matip - very tempted by his attacking potential! And a clean sheet is very possible against Boro (even given Liverpool's home record)

Anichebe to Origi could be good (plus your Haz move). Can you afford Anichebe to Giroud?

Would need to free up another £1.9m for Giroud, so I think it's out of the question without taking a hit or forgoing Coutinho.

Origi is affordable, but if I bring in a third forward I'd want them to be nailed to start, which I'm not sure he is...

Trailing my rival by 13 points. Haven't transferred Vokes in yet but this is what my team looks like now, against what his may look like, barring a transfer.

Any chance of me overhauling it? Transfer suggestions?

    Team A
    Caballero
    Alonso - Monreal - Holding - Vertonghen
    Sanchez - Sane - Pedro
    (Vokes) - Kane - Jesus

    Pickford - Albrighton - Redmond - Stephens

    Team B
    Heaton
    Alonso - Baines - Smith
    Sanchez - Alli - King - Pedro
    Vardy - Lukaku - Benteke

    Pickford - Matic - Cook - McAuley

Anyone want to set up a league for eliteserien from this saturday onwards?

Or does anyone have a code for one?

Woah really liking Hazard+JWP to Coutinho+Fabregas.

Would mean I'd be playing 3-5-2 and benching Gabbs:
      Sanchez Alli Eriksen Coutinho Fabregas
      Kane Jesus

    Hey deadzone,

    I've got a 3 point lead in a cash ML. Would it be worth taking a hit for Hazard+Gabbiadini > Coutinho+Giroud (-4)?

    Gives me:
    Hennessey
    Alonso Kompany Monreal
    Sanchez Alli Eriksen Coutinho
    Kane Jesus Giroud

Rival has differentials of KDB/Vardy/Negredo/King/Zaha(AOA) vs my Hazard/Gabbs/Kane/Eriksen (before my proposed transfers)

    1. liiusions
      • 10 Years

Probably wouldn't take a hit on the last GW but Gabbi has to go, can you afford Cesc and Sturridge? Not keen on the Giroud punt

I like the above suggestion with Hazard+JWP > Coutinho+Fabregas... and benching Gabbs.

        Sanchez Alli Eriksen Coutinho Fabregas
        Kane Jesus

Honestly think Pedro will be a bigger diff in the top 1k this week, but I'd go Cesc anyway

Do we think Fab is nailed for the final game?

I hope so as I'm looking at ditching Hazard for him to be honest. Hazard played 90 surely he will be rested for the final.

I think one of the advantages of Fabregas over Pedro is that Cesc has shown that even if he doesn't start he's capable of returns off the bench. His points at the Bridge are very impressive.

No price drop for Costa? disappointing. One more price drop for costa would be perfect for me

Head to head ML will be decided in the final gameweek!!
Rival and I are tied for points! I could really use some advice now.
Teams are very similar at this point. I only have 1 FT and 0.2 ITB.
AOA available, but not sure if I should play it or not.
Should I get rid of Gabbi and play AOA??
Really need to win final match!

    MY CURRENT TEAM:
    Willy
    Holding Alonso
    Sanchez(C) Fab Alli King Sane
    Kane(V) Gabbi Jesus

    Pickford Yoshi Stephens Bailly

    Only DIFFERENCES for rival:
    Vertonghen instead of Holding
    Hazard instead of Fab
    Anichebe instead of Gabbi

Wow that's tight. I'd start Yoshida over Gabbiadini and hope Fabregas outscores Hazard. Also look at Alli to Coutinho.

    Hows this looking?

    Courtios

    Davies Matip Alonso Stephens

    Cout (C) Sanchez Pedro Sane

    Kane Jesus

0.7 itb, tempted to upgrade Stephens.. Chasing a 50 point lead. Don't really wanna take any hits
