The 2016/17 season comes to a close this afternoon, with all 10 Gameweek 38 matches getting underway at 3pm.

We’re spoilt for choice in terms of armband options for the final round of fixtures, with the top three players in this week’s Captain Poll – Alexis Sanchez, Harry Kane and Philippe Coutinho – are serving up their highest hauls of the season in Gameweek 37.

Kane’s four-goal blitz at the King Power takes him two ahead of his nearest challenger Romelu Lukaku for the Golden Boot, while Sanchez welcomes Everton on the back of three successive double-figure tallies.

Throw in champions Chelsea at home to relegated Sunderland (Eden Hazard and Diego Costa both start) and Man City’s trip to a decimated Watford defence and it’s fair to say that goals look very much on Sunday’s agenda.

So sit back and enjoy the frantic next couple of hours’ action – it won’t be until August 12 before domestic action comes back our way again.

    Goodbye for the season (Repost)

    Hey guys!

    A big thank you to the FFS community, on behalf of all the first timers 🙂 I couldn't believe I learnt so much about FPL and the real game just by browsing through the several thousand comments every week.

    GW 3 was when I started, and I loved this journey. Currently #1 overall among the GW 3 starters, I have only the brilliant members here to thank, for their incredible insight and dissection of the game.

    Good luck to all you guys out there. Can't wait to start all over again (GW 1 this time though) 😀

    Not even fussed I didn't make up the 24 points on ML leader, played a good week but he didn't slip up so fair play to him + the differentials didn't do as well as expected so I'm not regretting a lack of punts.

      Ronka probably did not have the team value IMO. That is a lesson we all need to take forward. Lack of transparency about price rises has been poor from FPL this season IMO.

    Won my ML for the 2nd year in a row but at the cost of a Top 5k spot (captained Sanchez instead of Kane to block my ML rival).

    But hey, my aim was a Top 10k finish at the start of the season and I've achieved that with ease. Thank You FFS!

        Good point, in that case, I was Tc 42 Bb 165 & for Aoa lost a non playing midfielder for a def.
        Does anyone really think fpl will lose the Aoa - I cant imagine so, I wouldn't want a 4th chip, but something to replace Aoa would be nice.
