Swansea’s fine 3-2 win over Arsenal concludes the weekend action, leaving tomorrow evening’s clash between Wigan and City as the only unfinished business in the Gameweek. Time then, for us to extract the key statistics from our Members area and make a stab at the destination of the Fantasy Premier League bonus points…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Never had him. But Dyer's two consecutive 10pt hauls on my bench has made me feel a little miffed!

Not captain material unless it's a DGW. Having said that, I'm going for Sessegnon as my captain

Deal done then. Only prob is I am planning Fletcher in for Yak and cant leave him on the bench. However, I have RVP, Studge, Dempsey, Silva, Tony Valencia, Sess and Bale. Who do I sacrifice for Fletcher?

Based on the defences they're up against and how they've been playing, I see these as explosive this GW

    Torres (nor)
    Sess/maybe Larsson (SWA)
    Rooney/Welbeck/Valencia/maybe Nani (ars)
    Fletcher (AVL)

    Actually might do Torres (C).

        Quite the opposite really...

Torres - based on CL and general form for ages, performance against Sunderland wasn't even his best of the season. Just been Suarez-like with getting the ball in the damn net.
Sess - way more than one game
Larsson - way more than one game
Rooney - he didn't even have the best of game this GW
Welbeck - becoming a consistent starter and was tearing it up in early season too plus previous seasons
Valencia - way more than one game
Nani - anti knee jerk if anything
Fletcher - way more than one game

Same, although I had Roon (C) so my chances are pretty lame too.

38 is just below average perhaps, but I've seen truly disastrous scores this GW that are far lower

We have all established welbeck skims the ball for the first Rooney assist. Does that warrant giving welbeck the assist ?

According to the rules yes so the debate stops there if it's a fact Welbeck touched it. All over bar the screaming. However, I don't see any of the video evidence posted so far as conclusive so I'm waiting on FPL and not getting too expectant.

the rule states the last player to touch it

as welbeck doesnt that means rooney gets the assist

How do you explain the movement to the left when it goes past Welbeck then?

watch the right side shot of the goal, yes it bobbles slightly on the pitch but thats before it even reaches welbeck who had already pulled his foot away after the call from scholes

slight bobble on the pass and it had spin on the ball

its abundantly clear from the right angle footage of the pass

+1 agree on those two separate points. As I see I don't see evidence presented so far as conclusive, but based on the poor quality stuff he looks likelier to keep both IMO.

*waits for people to demand other people's points are taken off them*

Original plan was to keep wildcard as late as possible.

Reckon this team is alright to "survive" next week, relying on big points from the cheaper players in my team!

    Krul
    Richards, Shotton, Shawx
Sess (c), Walters, Drenthe, Nani, Bale
    RVP, Sturridge

    Vorm, Jones, Ekotto, (Ade unavailable)

Transfer is used already Jagielka > Richards
