The Gameweek concludes at the London Stadium where West Ham are treated to their first home game of the campaign against Huddersfield Town.

At the start of the season, this appeared to be a fixture which would have seen us back the Hammers’ assets for returns. Three games in and the outlook is very different.

The Terriers turn up undefeated and with no goals conceded. That form has seen the likes of goalkeeper Jonas Lossl and defender Zanka pick up 8.4% and 10.4% ownership respectively. Meanwhile, playmaker Aaron Mooy is backed by 12.9% having produced a goal and an assist to this point.

But West Ham have the best-supported player on show tonight.

Chicharito is part of 1.4 million squads and is backed by 159,000+ (3.3%) with the captaincy.

Significantly, he’ll be supported by Andy Carroll in the West Ham attack, in what appears to be a 3-5-2 set-up deployed by the under pressure Slaven Bilic.

Joe Hart is the next best owned West Ham asset in action, although 71% of his 500,000 owners have chosen to bench him ahead of tonight’s clash.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Does Lukaku offer enough Bang for your Buck? When I consider that I could ditch him and a lightweight like Abraham and replace them with Vardy and Firmino for less money it really makes me wonder.

He can go bonkers some game. But so can Morata, so can Jesus or Firmino. I think Morata / Jesus / Firmino probably provides the best value up front this year.

Jesus's minutes is questionable..yes he scores but I think most of us would want someone who play at least 70-80 minutes per game..unless budget doesn't allow upgrade by any means..

Dont have him yet, reminds me of Costa (one goal per game and seldom bonus points) personally i prefer to risk not having a player with 58% ownership who is neither Henry nor Suarez and use the cash elsewhere

Yeah Hegazi is a worry, I'm going to give him one more game unless he looks like this price will drop this week.

2 FT + a hit will give me the flexibility to get in Kane, get Hegazi out and find the funds for the difference.

Silva was ranked 9th in City's goal involvement last year, and 5th for the two seasons before then. I love the player, just dont think he'll really provide the City cover you want.

        likely get degea in.

just that i prefer to be salah / erik and either a city or utd mid. but it would force my hand to sell of alonso. which im not prepared to do. even if apzi might be a BPS magnet this season... if anyone paid attention to how they award points to defenders for jus bring the ball into the attacking qtr.

Ouch. Perhaps it does highlight the risk of triple up in attack though, even on Liverpool. It seems exciting when they're banging in goals for fun, but 4-0s don't happen every week. Tripling up on a good team might be okay, but I'd probably spread the three across defence, mid and forward.

Bertrand -> Davies for a hit? Usually don't take hits for defenders, but can't see SOU keeping a CS at home vs Palace after De Boer sacked. Spurs are home to Swansea...

Cheers, but this was my team after WC, i chose these two GKs since i can see them having a run of cs points. So downgrading Pickford not my choice. Hazard will have CL games so he ll surely lose minutes in PL (Conte talked about rotation) and they have Willian, Pedro and Fabregas available for the same position. Until I am sure about him getting 90 mins to play i dont want to go there. I try to avoid MUN, MCI, CHE for the same reason. Only Firmino and Spurs from CL teams since they are hard to get rotated (Alli ahead of Eriksen for the same reason)

Only if Wenger changes to four at the back. No room for him when Alexis is back, unfortunately.

Why are people not considering Trippier instead of Davies? He's underpriced at 5.4 and has more attacking pedigree than Davies.

Aurier is going to come in soon, Davies will hold his spot for at least another month

He will probably just play in Europe and cup games to allow him to get accustomed to English football.

I believe most have Bavies already. Plus he is just killing it right now. I'm on trip missed the Bavies train and wanted to save Moola. Might bite in the end. Depends on rotation with Aurier

Thoughts on Calvert-Lewin at 5.0? I only need him to be a touch better than bench fodder. He won't be a starter for me, but I'd like him hovering on the bench through Everton's great fixture run and picking up some points from him here and there.

Clearly not 100% nailed on, but he has appeared in every match so far and is the one attacking player at Everton bringing some pace and spark, while the AMs all seem a bit same-same. Sandro doesn't appear to be nailed on either, and Rooney not really up top.

My gut feeling is DCL will play a lot of minutes, even though it won't always be the full 90.

My formation means I need a low-range 3rd forward, but ideally not bench fodder like Quaner (4.5). I can afford Joselu or Abraham, but the 0.5 would be very useful elsewhere.

Do we think DCL is worth the punt at 5.0 if your formation is either 5-3-2 or 4-4-2 most GWs?

Good option at 5m. Koeman likes to blood youngsters so you could be onto a winner as a bench option.

Do you think the minutes he's had so far is relatively indicative of how Koeman will use him? Not a regular starter, but almost involved in the match somehow?

I think so. If thats adequate for a sub then so be it.

A good call simply to have cover through CL rotation.

That's what I was thinking. Out of all the risky budget attacking options, at least with DCL he should be involved every match, might jag some goals and assists coming on for the last 30 mins etc. Having him as a 3rd forward opens up so many opportunities in midfield and defence.

    Andy carroll?
At 5.9 pretty good with fixtures and options at that price.
The key at the moment is having a bench to cover CL rotation.
He seems good to go but fingers crossed on injuries.

I thought about it but went with Joselu in the end. Carrolls injury record worries me and he could be used as a late sub in a plan B. Its all formation dependant and the situation will change when Lanzini returns.

True. It seems 8.5 mil is the lowest price for a decent forward.

From gameweek 6 onwards, considering one of the following two.

    Rooney and Pogba
    Abraham and Hazard

Is Rooney facing any repercussions from his recent drink-driving incident that might impact on game-time?

    Would you rather do:
    A) Lukaku + Richarlison out and Jesus + Mkhitaryan in

    B) Stephens + Richarlison out Alonso + Chalobah in

    Current team is
    Foster
    Kolasinac - Jones - Stephens - Lowe
    Salah - Alli - Pogba - Richarlison
    Lukaku - Kane

    Myhill - T.Carroll - Goldson - McBurine

Richarlison out for a hit is not a move I would do. He seems about to start bringing points soon. If you definitely want to change him though, i d suggest wait for CL games they ll give you more info. Mkhitaryan may play 90 mins today so he may have restricted minutes vs Everton

Again, if Jesus gets subbed before Aguero in CL game yes. If not, wouldnt go there Jesus could end up on bench on Saturday's game. Sry but i dont trust Guardiola at all, thats why i dont have a MCI player after he arrived

    Elliot - Foster
    Simpson - Mendy - Alonso - Naughton - Mbemba
    Gross - Eriksen - Pogba - Ritchie - Carroll
    Morata - Firmono - Kane

I want to upgrade mid, but that means downgrade Mendy and/or Alonso. But I feel those two will get more points than a 8 mill mid..?
