The time has come to roll out our regular post-Gameweek members’ article and check up on some of the stand-out performers across the most recent round of fixtures.

Much of our focus turns to midfield, where Arsenal, Man City and Everton’s big hitters finally hint at the form of last season.

West Ham and Newcastle’s budget strikers also catch the eye, while defenders from Man City and Bournemouth shrug off slow starts to make significant bids for our attention.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

        To expand:

        Keepers are fine,
Defenders you have 3 of the top ones and a good enough 4th,
Midfield is the main place of worry but if one of the strikers starts to struggle, replace them with Vardy or someone cheaper and you could make Ritchie into Hazard for example. Good enough for now imo.

Defense is a bit too heavy and mid a bit too light. Probably could downgrade one of the defenders and improve one of the mids. That paired with the obvious Morata to Jesus and you're fine.

If you mean you're still on WC then Firmino to Jesus, Mkhi to Sterling, Kola to Monreal.

If you mean you don't have a WC to use, then probably Mkhi to Sterling this week. Firmino to Vardy also a good shout. At the back i guess just monitor it and if no Chelsea starts hurting you there's always David Luiz at 5.9

Yep, i feel you. I had Jesus last week and turned him to Lukaku and was going to WC but Aguero and Morata kinda screwed that up now. Somewhat wish i kept him instead, but tbh Lukaku vs Liverpool's poor defense is not too bad and then Huddersfield after that. Sterling could get some serious points if City keep banging, they tend to spread points around a lot too, whereas Lukaku is quite the focal point at times. We will see, good luck!

Toying with the idea of WC but not sure it's worth it. Current team is:

    Elliot - Gomes
    Davies - Kola - Mee - Naughton - Lowe
    Silva - Alli - Salah - Carroll - Atsu
    Kane - Kaku - Joselu

Best WC draft i've come up with so far:

    Fabianski - Elliot
Otamendi - David Luiz - Ward - Cresswell - Yedlin
    Sanchez - Sterling - Coutinho - Carroll - RLC
    Kane - Jesus - Joselu

          Lowe/Naughton/Davies/Mee/TAA (as above...)
          Eriksen/Salah/Gross/Atsu/TC

    2nd take:

    Courtois Elliot
    Davies Luiz Cedric Mee Wimmer
    Mane Sterling Richarlison TC 4.3
    Kane Lacazette Jesus

Could do Mane -> Cout and Courtois -> 4.0/5 but cant see anything worth upgrading for that money. Any opinions and help is appreciated.

What are people's experience with Draft? I joined two leagues at the start of the season. In one I'm the only who's made any transactions or team changes all season. In the other there are only two of us actively playing. Very disappointing. Though on the plus side I'm top of both leagues! But that's not the point. What are other people's experience?

No trading coupled with the inability to claim dropped players before the gw wrecks the game.

They need to change it next season or it will die.

I hear you. But I've been Kane-less thus far, and I'm around 69,000 with no chips. I just spotted Arsenal's next three have goal potential, hence I feel Lacazette's value is better, and allows for that midfield.

Although that's not to say I won't buy Kane in week 11 or 12.

        Thank you!

Yes. That being said, many people here prefer Jesus, Kun, Morata, Kane and Lukaku over Lacazette. Could be a good differential, and if he had fixtures as good as Man City and Chelsea then he would go straight in. But his fixtures are ok, and he's not proven (at least I dont think), which is why most arent considering him.

      1. Team Bobcat
        • 8 Years

Yes but with kun & morato now missing from that lot still little love for Lacazette.

We now have kane Luk Jesus Lacazette Vardy and you will aearch long and hard to see teams boasting Lacazette.

I find it very strange. It is as if we are all sheep.

To be honest no many of your outs are players I would want to keep

Maybe I'll just sort Jese and Ritchie(if injured) and save the WC for later then

I would as there will be a time you really need to play WC

Only 100% upgrades I see is Davies and Sterling. Losing Jesus is a huge downgrade. So no, not worth it.

No. But doubling up is a big punt. We all thought Firmino and Salah/Mane were essential, but times have changed.

Not madness, but ideally your looking at them with to be involved in 2 goals (assist/goal each), without Jesus/KDB etc being involved.

Managers! Be grateful if you could rate this wildcard team......

    Pope/Elliot
    Otamendi/Bavies/Ward/Monreal/Mariappa
    Silva/Eriksen/Mata/Doucoure, RLC
    Kane/Vardy/Jesus

    0.2m in the bank

    Thanks in advance!

Could downgrade Doucoure or Mata to get in Alonso or Kola at the back or to do Eriksen to Hazard.

But Doucoure imo, is a waste.

I have got an eye on him at 4.8 for WC squad so here’s hoping!

At 4.8 it is very tempted! Cedric at 4.9 possibly too 🙂

He’s dropping because he’s in a defence that gets pumped every week. Let’s be real lads

      Agreed on all 3.

Alonso has great fixtures and is still the defender with the most threat in the game.

Liverpool will continue to score goals and share the points.

Lukaku plays Huddersfield and Liverpool next; two of the worst defences in the league.

      Coutinho is matching Salad.

I haven't owned Alonso and he hasn't hurt me thus far esp with better value defenders delivering the goods e.g. Bavies, Jones, et al.

Lukaku has tough fixtures and has an ankle injury. Now's the time to boot.

Hell yeah on all 3. Have to admit I shipped Salah to Coutinho (to afford Davies) but still own the other 2

Salah maybe not, as Liverpool points will spread. Alonso yes and Lukaku probably.

Atsu a major rotation risk this GW in particular after international trip.

Murphy likely to get a start.

I don’t think many will agree but Hazard and Atsu

Eriksen fixtures toughen after Bournemouth and Hazard Atsu good fixtures. Hazard v Palace bigger upside and if does well lots will look to get him in

    Hello all,

    Any thoughts on this?

    Forster
    Davies Maguire Alonso Ward*
    Eriksen Ritchie* Fabregas Silva
    Jesus Lacazette Vardy

*Ritchie and Ward rotated for next handful of games. If Fabregas doesn't get to play, Ritchie/Ward would be a good first sub.

    Thank you!

Get Kane for Lacazette and downgrade Fabregas who will be subject to rotation
