Save your free transfer 4vets, and use it if one of your main players isn't playing in midweek, and you need to do some minor shuffling. Your team is good to go this week imo.

my thoughts exactly. There isn't a lot of choice in midfield and a small player pool of about 8 (McLean is another) but there's certainly better options.
The lad has served me well but now is the time to say goodbye.

Pathetic the way everyone transfering in all the plyers that have had a good week, and ditching the likes of Walters.

Did you see the article on here last week by Chris Glover looking at Walters' stats? He's had something like 3 shots in 4 games. His only saving grace was being on pens and that's now in doubt. Add to that the fact that Stoke have United away next week and there are ready made replacements like Sess, Dempsey and Velncia in good form with a decent fixture, and it actually makes a lot of sense to sell him.
65 points from my midfield alone this week, should be 77 by the time baps have been implemented

A nice way of measuring how well you did.
Anything under 100k weekly rank is very good.
100 - 500k is good - accept it and move on.
500,000+ Not so good - take it on the chin and just know there is always next GW.
Depends on the week tbh, because the spread of points varies from week to week and hence the number of points gained or lost by your ranking. If it's a high-scoring week the spread's usually larger and your ranking is more important, reverse if it's a low-scoring week.
Overall rank doesn't come into play, I'm talking weekly ranks.
Yes, I know where you're coming from and it's a good rule of thumb, but ultimately 'doing well' is only meaningful if it relates to how well you're doing in the game - ie. your overall points and more specifically overall rank.
So it's much better to be average on a 30pt week and top 100k on a 50pt week than vice versa.
Not really. The weekly rank I've found is bob on.

OK I've been inside the top few thousand, but the biggest score is always obscene.

Someone ranked inside the top 1k will always likely to drop if they get 1 point over average as the better ranked players score better overall.

Walters out of form and poor fixtures, Sturridge out of form and could be rotated for that reason. And if not rotated he will be just subbed early.
Valencia a must atm (as I see it), Zamora is deadly when he hits the form and Fletcher is a proven goalscorer in good form.
