Gameweek 19 continues with an early kick-off at Goodison Park as Everton host champions Chelsea.
Alvaro Morata’s suspension limits the Fantasy talent pool in this encounter, though there are still plenty of points at stake with a string of key assets in action.
Chelsea’s Eden Hazard is perhaps the most likely to deliver. The Belgian has produced two double-figure tallies over his last four away trips, though has blanked in the previous two trips at West Ham and Huddersfield. Indeed, with Morata absent, there is concern that Hazard’s output is being limited by a “false nine” role. That theory will be put to the test again today, with Pedro and Willian likely to be flanking Hazard in a 3-4-2-1.
The Chelsea defence will also be well backed, with Cesar Azpilicueta (21.5%) and Marcos Alonso (18.1%) the most popular assets on show. Two clean sheets in six Gameweek has been a disappointing return of late, though Alonso heads into today’s contest with a goal and an assist from his last two outings.
Everton were to boast the top owned player on show in Wayne Rooney. But the veteran is unable to extend an incredible run of recent form as he misses out due to illness. Rooney is owned by 21.5% of managers and was the second most popular signing prior to Friday night’s deadline. Some 229,000 brought him in ahead of this match while he was already the second most popular signing ahead of Gameweek 20 without kicking a ball.
