The Gameweek closes with a 0-0 stalemate at Anfield, a game notable in the main for a feline streaker – a rival to Everton’s recent handcuffed fan, but a far cry from the 70’s brand of pitch invader. Members can now read on for the key stats from tonight’s game and our prediction of where the remaining Fantasy Premier League bonus will be heading…
to James Loomes of the team "Danger Looms", i feel bad that i have beaten on fantasy cup this week, 79 to 73, and that was because you didn't put RVP as your captain. I guess all i can say is:
SUCK ON THAT!Open Controlsi've asked this before but the responses were tied at 2-2, so looking for more votes.
A) Play Fletcher home to WBA
OR
B) Fletcher > Cisse away to tott for a FT
cheersOpen ControlsI'd probably save the tranny. Can you not afford Ba?
Open Controlsi have a 120 point lead in my league, so i want to gamble on Cisse.
Further forward Cisse versus On-Penalties Ba = similar value imo.Open Controls
cheers guys. 6-2, easy victory 🙂

even better 😀

This season really is proving to be incredibly difficult. I don't know if it's a coincidence that this was the year when FPL linked up The Scout, or whether there are just more people taking it seriously generally...
Open ControlsI for one have done nothing differently but im beating you this year. Last year you crushed me though!
Open ControlsThe later I believe, just like the poker boom.
Open ControlsOh, and being linked to the Scout of course that helps many others that didn´t have a clue before... and you know like me there are a few hundreds more here...
Open Controls
I know that a number of people in my ML have discovered this site this year for the first time and it is a lot more competitive this year after I crushed them the last two years. The top 4 or 5 have got very very similar teams now.
Open ControlsStart watching football 😉
Open Controls
Have I got this right for the weekend?
Vorm (Mignolet)
Rangel, Kompany, Senderos (BAE, Simpson)
Bale, Valencia, Mclean, Silva, (Moses)
RVP, Aguero, Flecther
Have 6.9 and 1FT so wondering whether to do Flecther>Zamora or keep Flecther home to WBA?
Cheers guysOpen ControlsThis weeks decision, Taarabt or Dempsey. The other will be transferred in next week.
Open ControlsD since he's at home
Open ControlsToo much emphasis is placed on home fixtures. Look at this weekend for example, Siggurdson scored 13, McLean 11. Blackburn is a better fixture then Stoke at the moment.
Open Controlsi would happily wait one extra week to get someone who hasnt got a single attacking point all season. the home fixture for dempsey is only a bonus.
Open Controls
Why though? Taarabt is on corners, free kicks and Hughes is considering playing him off Zamora. At the moment, Blackburn away is just as good as Stoke at home.
Open ControlsProbably because 91 more points than Taarabt..
Open ControlsRubbish argument. It's about getting players at the right time.
Open ControlsProven point-scoring (over a number of seasons) versus potential (which has so far never been lived up to in the PL.)
Open ControlsPlus he cost me about 0.4 in value earlier in the season, so I hate him 😉
Open ControlsI agree, and i probably will go with Dempsey but to say you should get player x over player y becasue player x has scored more points is wrong. If i went by that logic, i would have played Sessegnon over Chamberlain last week and missed out on 8 points.
Open ControlsLike how I played Dempsey over Sigurdsson last week and missed out on 11 points 🙂
Open Controls
This is what I meant.
Taarabt has always been a potential, but has delivered SFA, Dempsey is a proven FPL player this year and in years gone by.Open Controls
You seem to have made up your mind about going for Taraabt, fair enough. From the responses it seems like a mistake though.
Open ControlsNah, i'll go with Dempsey and curse you all later 🙂
Open Controls
How good is Brad Friedel. At 40 he doesn't shows signs of slowing up either. Topper of a keeper. Free transfer aswell. Him and Scotty P signings of the season. Torres & Carroll not so much.
Open ControlsAgreed, tottenham would have continued to struggle if Gomes was still in goal. then again, if i had to choose one then i'd say Scotty P is THE signing of the season, friedel close second.
(arent you the root cause of the mangina overflow?)Open ControlsI was gutted when Friedel went to Spurs. Best keeper in the league for me. But I agree with Belha, Parker signing of the season possibly. Both brilliant though.
Open Controls
Watch Suarez before he kicks Parker. He gives a quick glance to see where Parker is knowing the ball is above his head at the time. Blatant.
Open ControlsMario would have been punished for it.
Open Controls
So, it looks like my way in for Ba in gw26 is going to be Sess>McLean this week. Having seen McLean and Sess rise this week are further price rises likely for either before the deadline?
Open ControlsSezz on 93.3 % already....
Open ControlsYeah Sess will go up tonight....there's a chance McClean will but it's more likely going to be tomorrow.
Open ControlsThat is the ideal scenario if that does happen. Bough Sess at 6.6 and currently worth 7.1.
Thanks allOpen Controls
Morning chaps,
Krul, Vorm
Richards, BAE, Evans, Santon, Caulker
Silva, Bale, Dempsey, Sessegnon, Reo-Coker
RVP, Aguero, Fletcher
1 free, 1.5 in bank
Any suggestions on what to do with my free? Wanted to get Ba in, but his price has risen so I'd have to take a hit to get him in.Open ControlsPlease help!!!!
Who do i sub from front 8 of:
Sessegnon, Silva, Dempsey, Valencia, Bale
Zamora, P.Cisse, Van Persie
Thanks in advanceOpen ControlsUnsure if to save a transfer / who to bench!
Vorm (lind)
Taiwo Sederos BAE (Santon Clark)
Silva Bale Sess Valencia Demps
RVP Dzeko (sturridge)
Looking at maybe sturridge to Zamora, but then who to bench? Sess? Save it?!Open ControlsSave the transfer and go for Ba next week with a combination of transfers.
Open Controls
Bayern Munich are set to complete the signing of Xherdan Shaqiri from FC Basel. He'll move in the summer for a fee of €11.5-13 million. Apart from being a very astute acquisition, it's a neat way of messing with the minds of your next Champions League opponents.
Open ControlsBooooooooooo. Liked the look of him for us. Talent.
Open Controlshe did give you guys a hard time in that last game...
Open Controls
No, the move can't be formally completed until the summer as the transfer window has closed. So Shaqiri will still play for FC Basel against Bayern, although he'll now be well aware that he'll be trying to prevent his future employees reaching a Champions League final that will be held in Bayern's own stadium. The poor lad may be a little erm... 'conflicted'.
Open Controls
Indeed! Quality player though.
Open ControlsRobben out?
Open ControlsDon't think so. Surprisingly perhaps, Bayern have currently got one of the smallest squads in the Bundesliga and Franck Ribéry openly criticised the club last week for not buying attacking reinforcments during the January transfer window.
Open Controls
Will H2H reserve league rank decide qualification for next year's FFS H2H leagues?
Open ControlsFirst qualify.
Open Controlsi'm on 54. what is cutoff rank in general. I'm guessing around 30.
Open ControlsI think it was 45 last season and If I recall it was increased to include a couple more this year due to the additional h2h leagues....54? Not sure.
* Just pulling your leg btw. Nice overall rank last season. First season in Reserves?Open ControlsYeah its my first season in reserves.
Aiming to finish in top 10k atleast. Had a bad start and lost about 2m at the beginning of the season.Open Controls
50
Open ControlsThanks for the info!

might even drop if he performed like he did against Chelsea - not his fault but for some reason with A Young he no longer looks the part...
will watch him for a few more games before deciding on Valencia
Shame - he was showing his best performances of his career to date for the last several weeksOpen ControlsHe played a good game. Ignore this 'fantasy world' game and look at it in pure footballing terms, he was a managers dream with his incredible workrate and endless help for Raphael.
That United didn't exploit Chelsea as often down their flanks owes everything to the fact that a home team played with 1 up against United. This was a fear of being picked off by Valencia and Young I believe. Also, Bosingwa (playing LB) hardly crossed the half way line the entire game, he was always in position to mark Valencia in the Chelsea half.
It has nothing to do with the fact that Young played but yeah, keep him for a few more weeks, Uniteds fixtures get a lot betterOpen ControlsI know what you are saying - I agree with what you said
I should be more precise to state that the dynamics of the team can change when a certain player(s) comes in... Young came in and the dynamics of Utd's plays seemed to all go through him. Having watched a few Utd games this season, he can be quite central in a lot of attacking plays
So - a few more games to see how it pans out for Valencia then....Open Controls
Not after that average performance against Liverpool I believe.

Hi!
My Team for this GW:
Vorm
Caulker Kompany Evans
Dempsey(c) Siggy Silva Sess Bale
RVP Aguero
Bench: Krul, Simpson, Keane, Huth
Got 6.0 in the bank.
Got rid of Valencia for Siggy for a punt at least until GW28 (feared the rotation). Any comments, suggestions? Would like to bring in Demba Ba for next GW. Possible get another defender if Huth ban stands.Open Controlsim also get rid of valencia for siggy ....hope valencia did nothing at least for this week
Open Controls
want to get siggy and dempsey in for a hit....do you think fulham struggle to score against stoke??
Open ControlsDempsey is my captain 😀
stoke usually tend to concede away from home. plus hopefully they wont have huth available for the gameOpen Controls
Thinking of simply saving a transfer, sound good?*
*Based on Huth and Kompany being available.
Hart
Kelly Kompany Senderos
Silva Bale(c) Dempsey(vc) McClean
RVP Ba Welbeck
Bogdan HBA Huth Santon
Willing to let Welbeck stay there for one more gameweek despite saying I didn't think he'd start this weekend. Think it would be much better to have 2 free transfers in between GW25 and 26 with all the FA Cup and Europa League games.Open ControlsLooks great, save it
Open ControlsAgree on the 2 transfers idea - always a good conservative strategy...
BUT! your defence with Kompany not guaranteed to start (apparently?) and Huth (looks like ban will remain), and Santon up against Spurs at the Lane, is rather weak
Then upfront you have Welbeck who most likely will not start against LFC... he had his chance at Anfield but failed... Chico will start no doubt - at least this what I anticipate... your first sub HBA will likely start on the bench and may not even feature
FB - sorry but you need to make sub... and if need be after the 2 weeks break use a 4pt hit.
Harsh but a fair breakdown from meOpen Controls
Think 70% of us have a midline of (Silva Dempsey Valencia Bale) this wk... 😕
Open ControlsWith RVP up front too. Down to your capts choice!
Open ControlsI'm thinking Dempsey, his home record his great. Bale can't play as bad as y'day again too so he could be a shout as shout do damage against Simpson/Williamson
Open ControlsArmbands currently on those two for me, Demps C Bale VC. I need to pull away in a minileague after closing down a 200 point gap to being 30 points ahead now after my rival chose Bale over RVP this week!
Open Controls
Pretty much the whole of the teams around here, I presume, have them.
Open ControlsValencia who? The only united player I've had all season is Evans, got him in my winter WC 8)
Open ControlsNever owned Valencia and got Silva in for his 2 and 3 point performances.
Open Controls
I like Ba but we already have RVP as a player who everyone has which becomes a bit boring so i'm definitely going with Cisse.
Open ControlsThoughts on Aguero this weekend? Is it madness to be bench him or Ba or RVP?
Aguero away from home doesnt look as good?Open ControlsBench Zamora or Silva? Have Silva on bench at the moment as have aguero up top.
Open ControlsWorth taking a hit for a defender? If so then who? Can afford whoever
currently have Enrique (injured), Raylor (injured), Clichy (lost place), Caulker, and Kelly.Open Controlslast season Dempsey scored 2 vs Stoke at CT, Bale scored 1 vs Newcastle at WHL.
Open Controlslast season Charlie Adam was owned by 40%
