Our series of members’ Monitor articles on Wildcard targets continues this evening with an analysis of Chelsea’s in-demand Willian.

The third most bought midfielder in Fantasy Premier League’s (FPL) ahead of Gameweek 32, the Brazilian, along with team-mate Eden Hazard, has been in fine recent form ahead of a favourable run-in that also includes an expected pair of Double Gameweeks.

With this in mind, coverage of the Chelsea attack appears a promising strategy over the season’s final weeks, yet with doubts over the forward set-up, many managers are looking to the midfield for a solution.

    Evening all. Feels like I've been looking at stats for too long. FH, TC intact and on a WC, I'm leaning towards a 3-5-2 formation along the lines of:

    De Gea - Ryan (rotation for non DDG games)
    Smalling - Morgan - Maguire - Christensen - Lowton (DGWers, not perfect but strapped for cash)
    Salah - Sterling - Mhik - Mahrez - Kenedy (reasonably strong mids)
    Kane - Firmino - Barnes (providing Kane is fit, if not, Aub)

    Obvious weaknesses are Kane potentially being eased in.
    Mhik over Aub, Mahrez over Vardy which I'm happy with.
    Kane over Son (providing he plays).
    No Willian, no Alonso.
    Defense suffers a bit with the more expensive players.

    It's a bit of a ramble. Any thoughts are appreciated.

      imo. I'd be skeptical with Christensen and I'd prefer Rudiger, never liked Sterling but it's personal and I'd opt for Sané

        Thanks, both valid points. Sterling I've had from almost the beginning so there's a lot of funds in him at the moment.

        Rudiger is more nailed than Christensen but with slightly less goal threat and 0.5 more.

    I'm considering the following slight tweak for my remaining chips:
    BB in DGW34
    Navigate GW35 (currently have 8 players)
    FH in GW36
    TC in DGW 37

    My current WC team has a fair number of GW35 players, so I'm tempted to switch things up. Any thoughts?

    Here's my current WC squad:
    DDG, Ryan
    Monreal, Alonso, Chilwell, Mee, Lowton
    Salah, Mkhi, Mahrez, Stanislas, Kenedy
    Aubameyang, Lukaku, Barnes (0.0 ITB)

    And here's a potential FH squad for GW36:
    Pickford, (Maenpaa)
    VVD, Alonso, Vertonghen, Lowton, (Hunemeier)
    Salah, Hazard, Son, Kenedy, (McTominay)
    Kane, Firmino, Quaner (0.1 ITM)
