The Big Numbers – Gameweek 36

We now check in with the form of a number of Double Gameweek 37 candidates in our regular analysis of the members’ Opta data.

Man City’s attack shows no signs of complacency since clinching the title, while Southampton appear to have reason for optimism in their bid to beat the drop.

Meanwhile, we assess the recent showings of Spurs and Leicester’s frontmen, while Man United and Chelsea’s midfield make a late claim for our attention ahead of Friday evening’s deadline.

      Morning

To bring in Ederson, I need an extra £0.1m so considering replacing Barnes with Jordan Ayew for a -4 hit.

Would you bring in any other double gameweek players for a further hit? I'm chasing 35 points to the person top of my league.

      1FT, 0.7m ITB
      Pickford (Ryan)
      Smalling, Chilwell, Bauer (VVD, Lowton)
      Eriksen, Salah, Sterling, Mili (Cork)
      Jesus, Kane, Barnes

      Thanks!

      Wood/Lowton to Ayew/Smalling (-4)?

Would have the below for Bench Boost

      DDG, Fab
      Davies, Maguire, Smalling, Yedlin, Ogbonna
      Sterling, Sane, Son, Pogba, Arnautovic
      Kane, Jesus, Ayew

      Any thoughts appreciated!!

      Playing BB chip

      De Gea
      Christensen Chilwell Otamendi
      Grob Son Sterling(C) Tadic
      J.Ayew Kane Jesus

      Pickford Zaha VVD Lowton

Morning, so the most important GW in terms of oneML and I want to get one over ML City trader jerk mates. So all advice welcome.

      Current team is:

      DeGea

      Simpson/Lascelles/Van Dijk

      Salah/Sterling/Sane/Shaqiri

      Vardy/Kane (TC) Jesus

      Hennessey/Milivojevic/Bauer/Lowton

2fts and zero ITB. Help a man out to get one over on the city boys and earn a fair few dollars.
At the moment I am thinking of doing Salah/Van Dijk/Shaqiri to Eriksen/Vertonghen/Lingard giving me potentially 11 DGWs for a minus 4. What do we think good people I will get Salah back for GW38
      Cheers

      De Gea
      Smalling Kompany Morgan Mustafi
      Eriksen Son Sterling Willian
      Jesus Kane

      Hennessey Cork Tarkowski Barnes

      Only TC-chip left

Anything worth taking a hit for?

        Morgan -> Mawson / Naughton?

Ty. Good call. (Haven't even considered Swans assets 🙂 )
Rather Morgan -> Mawson / Noughton than Barnes ->J.Ayew ?

I think so, Barnes has a good last fixture v Bournemouth so good to keep. Leicester have nothing to play for, Burnley are looking for a European spot.

Out of the loop - Is Alonso still worth getting in?

Do you think Salah to Pogba (and then back again next week) is a good move if i can afford it?

      Thanks!

Hi guys. I’m currently 188th in the world and am aiming to finish on a high and secure a top 100 finish.

My team at the moment with no hits looks like this:

      De Gea
      Smalling - Azpiliceuta - Cedric
      Gross - Willian - Son - Sterling - Mahrez
      Kane - Jesus

      Bench:

      Ryan - Morgan - Barnes - Lowton

Are there any changes which you think may be worth a -4 hit? I’m considering these 2 at the moment.

      1) Ayew in for Barnes (Ayew to replace Gross in starting 11)
      2) Arnautovic in for Willian as have serious doubt Willian will play many minutes this week

Are either of these 2 worth a -4? Other suggestions are welcomed. Thanks in advance.

Hazard on top of goals imminent table .... time to bring him in

      Current team:

      Lloris
      Smalling // Simpson // Masuaku
      Alli // Lingard // Willian** // Gudmundsson**
      Kane // Jesus (TC) // Lukaku **

      (Ryan // Lowton // 3.8 // Romeu)
      2.2 ITB

      Looking to do
      A - Lukaku // Willian // Gudmundsson >> Rashford // Sane // Arnie (-12)
      B - Lukaku // Willian // Gudmundsson >> Rashford // Sane // Sterling (-12)
      C - Lukaku // Willian // Gudmundsson >> Lacazette // Sane // Arnie (-12)
      D - Lukaku // Willian // Gudmundsson // Ryan >> Auba // Sane // Arnie // 3.9 (-16)

Don't like Simpson or Masuaku but unlikely to take hits for defence

      Thoughts? Other alternatives?

I think you should stick with Lukaku unless confirmed he won't play. However, if your set on transferring him out I would consider the following: Lukaku + Willian + Masuaku >>> Giroud + Hazard/ Sane + Vert.

I would personally downgrade Lukaku, perhaps to Giroud. Doubt Rashford will play both games during GW37, but could be worth the risk. Hazard or Sane are looking in good form, I reckon Sane will do better. Then Vert, I can't see why Spurs wont get a double clean sheet, that's an easy 12 points. Therefore, if you have 1FT that means you only need a -8 points.

Personally, I think West ham's fixtures don't look good and Arsenal have been doing a lot of rotations so there is no guarantee Lacazette starts.

          Thanks Chris
Can't do Vert as already have Lloris + Alli and Kane.
Agreed Rashford is doubtful to start both but would put Giroud in that bracket (imo). Not much choice outside Kane and Jesus. Vardy (Lesta beached), Firmino (1 game ony + against Liverpool), Laca, Auba, Giroud, Morata (unknown gametime), Ayew/Perez/Austin (just cannot see getting big haul)

Ahead of my ML opponent by 60 points, he has BB left to play and I have none. Who to Captain:

      A) Kane - Not in the best of form and looks very of the pace atm.
      B) Sterling - Great form but doubt he'll play both games during GW37
      C) Sanchez - Differential. Mixed form but I'm sure he'll play both games during GW37

      A) Alonso tadic
      B) Smalling Arnie/Ramsey

      Who scores more? IM chasing

Which would you go for? 1FT, 0 ITB. TC to play this week.

      DDG
      Vertonghen, Dunk, Morgan
      Salah, Mahrez, Son, Willian, Gross
      Kane, Vardy
      (Ryan, Bailly, Barnes, Lowton)

      A. Bailly, Salah, Vardy > Laporte, Sterling, Jesus (-8)
      B. Bailly, Mahrez, Vardy > Bednarek, Sterling, Jesus (-8)
      C. Mahrez, Salah, Barnes > Pogba, Gundogan, Jesus (-8)
      D. Bailly, Mahrez > Smalling, Sterling (-4)
      E. Mahrez/Salah > Sterling
