The Big Numbers – Gameweek 37

With five fixtures remaining in Double Gameweek 37, the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) transfer market has a major influence on our members’ assessment of the data so far.

Arsenal’s big January signing is joined by a Crystal Palace pair in catching the eye, while we also assess Mohamed Salah’s recent decline in form ahead of Liverpool’s potentially vital home clash with Brighton.

Fellaini rules out for West Ham. Thank goodness for that - maybe now Man U won’t feel like they need to revert to long balls if West Ham hold them at bay for 60 minutes.

Do you think so? Liverpool been heavily involved in Champs League matches in the last month, so always going to be a downturn in his stats in the league. I will be captning Salah. At last he gets a good rest and will be firing again.

    Hey guys.
I’m just going to leave this here. If any of you have a little bit of cash to spare, I’m going to Uganda in two weeks to set up a school and orphanage and any donations would be seriously appreciated.

I do understand this point, it’s very fair. But as the admin know how much I’m involved in charity, and i asked ahead of posting, they agreed.
Been posting for years and was quite involved in the Simon Humber charity match so there is some trust.

I am always happy to donate to things however I will not be donating to this as I do not support these institutions for a number of reasons.

Hey Pep. Thanks for posting. It is of course important to get both sides. Robert, the chap who is setting things up, is well aware of how bad some of the orphanages are in Uganda, hes trying to change that, well, at least do what he can.
The main difference here is that his is not just an orphanage, it’s a school, with playing fields and basketball courts. It’s a whole new way of doing things in the country. They want to keep the kids active, both mentally and physically.
Although there are some really poorly run places that look for profit than anything else, there is hope. If I can get one flagship model of such a place up and running, we’re hoping it will get the same media attention as the negative.

Would appreciate the advice. 10 points behind rival. I have 1 mil itb, he has Salah, I don't. Should I be getting Salah if I'm chasing is the 1st question. Here's my team

    Ederson
    Vert long Daniel Naughton chilwell
    Eriksen sterling zaha arnie
    Kane auba jesus

Should I do a minus 4 to do the following move
    Zaha + arnie to Salah + rlc/McArthur?

      • 12 Years

Am in similar situation and probably gonna actually bring in Zaha over Salah (my ML rival has both) but going Zaha allows me to upgrade a defender also. If i was you i'd probably stick and upgrade Daniels > Van Dijk.

    A. Willian >> Zaha

    B. Willian+Alonso >> Salah+Hunemeier (-4) (and play Lowton)

Anyone remember the Euro Fantasy captain "stick or twist"?

That would be a welcome addition to FPL I think

    1. willl
      • 8 Years
      6 years, 16 days ago

I could see them adding it because it would make people visit between games to change C.

I don't think it's a good idea though, it takes away the importance of captain choice when you can re-roll the dice multiple times.

      1. Holding Matip
        • 6 Years
        6 years, 16 days ago

Realistically you only have 2 goes at Captain though, either Saturday or Sunday (the majority of the time)

It was probably exaggerated in the Euros as a game week was over multiple days, so more "re rolling"

I think having just 2 goes will keep people interested, and also add another dimension to the strategy of the game

People would plan to have options in the Monday/Friday games whenever there is one.

People are already interested, I personally feel the game is fine as it is.

I badly need Kane to score tonight to give me some breathing space in my mini leagues. Not confident though.Could be another one of those nights.

Those 3 assists for the Vertonghen hattrick will help too.

This. I'm on 18 points with 14 players played! Utter disaster at the moment, I'll take what I can get!

Did you take a 12 points hit?

If not then you are rather unlucky.

    Tonight:

    Hattrick from LORD HARRRYYYYYYYYYY.
He now is just 1 goal away from equaling Mo Salah on the last game next week!
