Liverpool have done well and deserve the cup. And whilst it may be 4th on most top team's list, it is still far better than nothing, which ManU or City could still end up with.

At the end of the day, the Liverpool fans that are delighted today are the same ones who will probably be saying "its only the Carling Cup" next season if they don't win it, and all of the other football fans in the country belittling their achievement now will be the same ones who will bouncing in celebration if their team ever manages to win it.
