Probably a good idea use 1 save 1 to upgrade McClean next week, I would easily do McClean -> Nani, Hart/Kompany->Cheaper defender.
Yeah I was looking to get rid of Hart for maybe Friedel after the Bolton game too. Will probably use one on upgrading Ben Arfa. Was thinking Valencia maybe but with Young and Nani now adding to our scoring again I think he may be a little risky.
Think use 1 save 1 is the best strategy for the moment!

I would downgrade you defence (Lescott) then sort out your midfeild. Way too many budget midfeilders in there (McClean/Ox/Dyer)

Oxlade to someone is probably what I'm looking to do, I think his rotation risk outweighs his potentially decent scores. Not done well with Ars mids having had Ramsey for ages too.

The 3 Swans and Lescott And Ade(had him before ba) along with my rival not captaining RVP have helped me make 95 points on my rival in the last 3 gameweeks. (I was 180 behind him, now close to 90)

Morning all.
Needing to make up serious ground on my rival. After some calculations, I need to average 10pts more than him per GW over the remaining GW to bring our scores level.
After bringing in Aguero, my rival has now matched my forward line. Due to the fact that our similar players are mostly attacking, I don't think that defensive differentials will offer me enough to get that average. Therefore I feel like I need to try and switch up an attacking player in order to make up ground. Currently we have the following players the same;
Ba, Aguero, RVP, Bale, Dempsey, Caulker
Which of these do you see as coming to a quiet period? or rather, which do you think would offer the most reward in transferring?
Current ideas are;
Ba-->Holt (frees up cash to spend elsewhere)
Ba-->Saha (try to capitalise on Tottenham attacking play)
Aguero-->Ballotelli (trust in the Scout and go for a Man City differential, would probably do Yaya-->Silva the week after if I did this)
RVP-->Rooney (probably the most crazy idea, but united fixtures look good soon)

If you catch him, you are a legend. Teams are too similar to make big gaps up & simply taking a hit can make teams even more similar.
I think it is possible...but yes difficult.
Re hits: My point exactly, I need to be quite measured. But I also feel like one of those players is going to score poor over the next 3-5GW, a good pick will give me a good foundation.

I was talking about the leader talking hits if you were 2nd. I think 5 points a weeks is hard with a leader who is weary of you. Either take a punt each week & if they don't work out then you tried or go with the usual suspects but that will only match his scoring but will probably improve your rank the safest. Differentials are your only chance imo.
I would get rid of Bale with an eye of their poor fixture list, plus I am hoping that Spurs are about to collaspe under the pressure.
RVP to Rooney has major merits in my opinion.
Jimmy, go with differentials. 3 weeks ago i was 190 points behind the leader which is when i calculated the average of 10 too. Now i am 86 points behind him.

Well, Bale scored away to City and assisted away to Arsenal so I wouldn't say bad fixtures is a valid argument.
Also, Tottenham are 3rd in the table. They're playing against Manu (2nd) and Chelsea (5th) as bad fixtures. Would you say a Liverpool (7th) player has bad fixtures if they would be playing against Newcastle (6th) and Sunderland (9th)?
JimmyDeemo - one player - Peter Odemwingie. WBA's Home fixtures are quite tasty. You should do this, imo.
I will have Adebayor to the end, now, I expect.
Ba isnt exactly lighting it up anymore anyway, everyone is wary of the toon now so he is marked heavily.
I don't fancy Odemthingy's next two Doosra. Do you think his price will rise much before GW29?
Dunno. Thing is - one has to strike while the iron is hot. With striker's, imo, fixtures are hardly important. Chelsea can't pimp a clean sheet against decent teams, and neither can United. It is very frustrating.
One last thing about Odemwingie - Brunt is soon back, so he won't be dependant just on Morrison ...
I'm concerned it's just chasing last week's points, often a fatal error on here. Though I don't fancy Ba's next two either.
With no WC left and short and DGWs coming I can't afford to waste TFs.

No it all looks fine to me, overall a nice team, especially with the Rooney change in GW28. I'm taking out Sess and Walters in the next few weeks and also am bringing in Rooney in GW28, so our teams up front will be pretty similar.

in thinking al habsi, and hope i get three starters out of richards, verm, santon and senderos.
Habsi has a gw 29 fixture which is vital with my current keeper situation. I had him in my dream team last week. Was told he wont be in the scout picks. 😉
so what happens, he gets an article and goes and gets a CS. not saying there's more to come but he wont hurt me at the position, has no blanks to worry about and has some decent fixtures until i upgrade to another for the run-in.
definitely considered. habsi being a tic cheaper, and having decent fixtures this week and gw29 were the deciding factors. i think its habsi or take a hit. if you could pick out 1 keeper and 1 defender totalling 10.1 mil in price, ideally the keeper playing every week til the end of the season and the defender with a decent stab at a CS this week, who would you choose?

Whilst I was hoping for a Cardiff victory (as I pretty much always do with underdogs), Liverpool clearly deserved the win. But I think a lot of people have got really pi55ed off with Liverpool fans recently (must stress, not ALL Liverpool fans, but a large vocal section), with their blind support during the Suarez affair.
