As Gameweek 27 approaches, 128 fantasy managers are eagerly awaiting news of their third round opponent in the Members Paddy Power Cup II. The waiting is over, as the draw has been made and the 64 fixtures can be viewed right here.

The reigning champ, Kippax Kikkers, has a tricky third assignment against gosh. Although ahead of him in the overall standings, the difference between them is a slender eight points.

Last week’s top-scorer, sandgrounder, may not need to repeat his heroics of round two, as he massively out-ranks his opponent:Garrydoherty84 sits 52,404th in the world, over 44k places behind top 8,000 manager sandgrounder.

The Scout team flag is flying extremely low, as we only have one remaining Contributor left in contention. PureOlivia will be aiming to save some face for us against Hopes Fears Dreams.

I’ll bring you the results of the third round shortly after the Gameweek concludes. Good luck all!

What are Valencia owners doing?

I've spent all season worrying about value so that i don't need to fret in the last 10 gameweeks, but his value is dropping like a stone (and so will Bales, but that's another story)

Are people sticking with him in the hope he's back in the lineup this weekend, having in all likelihood shed 0.4m? If he doesn't make an appearance this weekend, he's gonna be sold even more.

  If he is out and u have the cash do Val->nani.. otherwise u have a lot of cut price options of Siggy/Miyaichi etc..

  are there massively better options than Sess if he sold bale? Im not so sure.
  
  i think he has a slight advantage as it stands but if you both captain aguero , it will come down to sess vs whoever he brings in or moses.

    i have to think our toughest opponent has already been faced. Ive been destined to go 5-1 all along. The first and ONLY loss is designed to motivate my players and give the other clubs a false sense of security.

I don't want to do any transfers this week, with a view of doing Richards->Skrtel and Aguero->Rooney fort the double GW. Could also do Richards->Skrtel and Ba->Suarez. But Bale's injury really puts everything into perspective. What would you guys do.

What are non-Aguero-owners doing this week with their captain's armband?

RVP for the risk/reward,
Silva for the consistency,
Ba for the potential but also potentially frustrating 2 points?

I've had it on Silva all week with Ba as (VC) as I don't want to get burned again by Ba. I feel as though he's the best pick on paper though!

  I've had my armband on Silva all week but I can see Rooney doing some damage against Spurs provided SAF has told him this week that his (ahem!) sore throat is better and he's allowed to go out and play with the other boys now.

    If RVP was an injury doubt and Liverpool had a full strength defence I'd consider it but RVP seems to be fine and Agger is out.
    
    There's perhaps a slight doubt he will get the full 90 due to the AC Milan game but I still have him down as getting a good run-out.
    
    It's not enough to convince me to captain him but I certainly wouldn't bench him.

  Zamora will have Cisse back against arguably the worst defence in the league next week, so even with Suarez's dgw Zamora may score enough to justify keeping him.
  
  If you must have Suarez then get Rooney in as well and leave Lescott.

  Wait for news today. It's a tough one if you have both because they'll only be out for a short term. But if both are confirmed not playing this weekend then it leaves a big hole in your midfield. I'd be tempted to keep Bale because, if you sell, it's not easy to get him back. So sell Valencia if confirmed out - you can always get him back without too much additional cost.

if bale is out for about 3 weeks is it better to sell or keep? cuz it'd be nice to get someone in for him for those 3 weeks but yet most of us would lose a decent amount getting him back and would also be wasting 2 transfers. especially cuz his fixtures get nice in 3-4 weeks i think...

  Was planning on selling anyway regardless of the injury. Think Ade is better Spurs option for rest of the season now.
  
  May just go without Spurs cover though and use Bale funds to get Rooney in next week.
  
  At the moment I was planning on playing 4-4-2 this week and using 2 free transfers early next GW to get Rooney, cheap mid and Enrique for Taiwo for 4 pt hit.

I don't have Aguero but I voted for him in the captains poll. He is easily the best option IMO. The hard part now is choosing a captain from Rooney, RVP, Ba, Dempsey and Silva. Any thoughts?
