Scarred by the resting of City duo Sergio Aguero and David Silva, Gameweek 27 will go down as one of the key periods in the Fantasy season as vice captains kicked in to gift or rob Fantasy managers of spoils. Sunday’s events didn’t fail to add their own twists with red cards, missed penalties and the return to form of Clint Demspey alongside the extraordinary contribution of Pavel Pogrebnyak.

    5 of my starting 11 after autosubs hv scored... 0,0,0,-1,-2.. :/ (Richards, SIlva, Taiwo, Bale, Sess, Ba, Valencia, Kelly)

    So guys whats the update on Bale.. will he be fit for next week ???

      I'm In the same sort of position:

      4 of my players scored 38 points - the others managed an aggregate of 0 (1,0,1,0,0,-2,0)
      (Simpson, Richards, McClean, Bale, Valencia, Ba (VC), Aguero)
      With three more non playing subs 😉

      Bale's hamstring is fine apparently, he was just a bit Ill and missed the united game, but should be back next week I reckon.

    I don't understand this Aguero to Rooney rush...I know Swansea are good at home, but I think city will MAUL them. Surely Aguero has a better fixture?

      It seems logical to go for Rooney to be honest. United's run of fixtures in general are a hell of a lot better than Citys. But I agree City do have the potential to kill Swansea.

      But then again Aguero is not really an "away" player.

        Yeah, but the lad has potential to run riot when he's in the mood. Whereas Rooney has disappointed me all season...I don't think I'll sacrifice him. Question now is...who will replace Ba? Missed penalty?! Unforgivable, in my eyes. I'm tempted to go with the giant rat, but going for someone like Pog makes things interesting....thoughts, exonerate?

        As a Siggy owner, I'm not massively excited about future prospects, but keeping hold still. A.Young will be rotated with Nani+Valencia.. and unlikely to hit the heights of today consistently.

    If you were to sell Aguero for any other striker other than Rooney (and Suarez) who would it be?
    Preferably someone in form (like Pogrebnyak) or some one from a team who is about to hit or has a decent run of fixtures.

          Welbeck hasn't exactly set the Prem on fire..can't even remember the last time he scored.

          Day like today show you need a decent bench. Sigg is value no matter how you look at it. If you can't afford maybe you should look at where all your money is going and downgrade elsewhere.

        The defense double up with G.Johnson & Skrtel was before the DGW had been announced and so was Baines. The only transfer I have done especially for the DGW is to get in Suarez and will be trading for Ade in GW 31.

    So, shall I play Siggy against City and bench Sessegnon, or sell Sessegnon and by Drenthe for -4 (than Siggy on the bench). Drenthe goes on the bench for gw29 and after that I will use WC and he will gone...
    So, is it a good move?
    Also, if I sell Sessegnon, I will have 7.9 so....maybe not Drenthe....but who?

      This is the same dilemma as me.

      I'm between Richards -> Skrtel or Silva -> Nani/Young or both for a hint.

      from your ones I'd say go for A since you won't need Richards in 29 either.

        Keep Silva IMO

        I'm leaning towards a for 2 reasons

        firstly my main rival owns Enrique so I want Skrtel as a differential. secondly as a United i can't bring myself to want City CS anymore

      Not sure if I have stones to sit Ba yet, but Newcastle's three trips to London this season have ended in 0-0 draw with QPR, 2-5 loss to Fulham, 0-5 loss to Spurs. Not a good trend.
