Scarred by the resting of City duo Sergio Aguero and David Silva, Gameweek 27 will go down as one of the key periods in the Fantasy season as vice captains kicked in to gift or rob Fantasy managers of spoils. Sunday’s events didn’t fail to add their own twists with red cards, missed penalties and the return to form of Clint Demspey alongside the extraordinary contribution of Pavel Pogrebnyak.

Our members can now pick through all the statistics from the Gameweek and, as always, we’ve picked out some eye-catching numbers to digest. Of course, we’ve also included our prediction of where the Fantasy Premier League bonus will go…

    There I was thinking (as many others did...) that I'd rake in the points with ol' Aguero as captain, and that I was smart for giving the VC to my man Demba Ba. Oh well...Still got a nice green arrow to return to the top 10K.

    Now for my deicision: Do I go for a Suarez or dig for a Rooney? What say you the people?

    I am going Ba to Suarez this GW, but need mid 5.7 and below. Am thinking Siggy/Maclean? League leader has Siggy, about 30pts behind him. Do I remove the differential and find pts elsewhere or go for Mclean. May also upgrade Raylor to Enrique for 4pt hit and would need .5m (at present to do this so both would allow this.

    I already have GJohnson for the DGW so on top of that, would you have:

    A) Enrique (DGW) & Rooney (WBA) (4 point hit)
    or B) Vermaelen (NEW) & Adebayor (eve) (No hit)

    Bearing in mind its a strong possibility I'll want Rooney in at a later date, by which time his price will have risen, in all likelihood.

      Cheap as chips, great fixtures, loads of potential and the type of player that's most fun to own in FPL. Easy decision. Just buy him.

        Is he actually any good? I've only seen a youtube video, where he gave the ball away in virtually every clip, of his performance vs Wigan, nothing other than that.

          Don't know really, he's been their most dangerous player when I've scouted him the last three or four games. Should be a fun bandwagon to be on. Can beat players easily with his pace and has a 'good touch for a quick man', if you know what I mean.

          Took corners from both sides yesterday and a couple of indirect free kicks too.

        I don't know how to look at that.

        He could be a decent player, but being able to pass the ball successfully more than 3 times in a row or make a dribble puts a star over your head in the Trotter camp.

      When a player is below their starting price they take 10% of players to transfer them out to drop 0.1.

      With a red flag this seems to double to 20%, yellow flag makes it 15%.

      But FISO accounts for this, ie Valencia has 2.3% ownership, out of 2.7 million players.
      Normally he would take about 6k transfers out to fall, ATM FISO says he needs ~12k out to fall, double the usual, he currently has about 13k out.

      He will fall.

      That said I don't know whether to keep him or not.

      I'd probably use the cash in your bank account and the FTs to buff up your defense a bit, and maybe swap out Vorm as his run in over the rest of the season is more difficult than his first half was.
