Scarred by the resting of City duo Sergio Aguero and David Silva, Gameweek 27 will go down as one of the key periods in the Fantasy season as vice captains kicked in to gift or rob Fantasy managers of spoils. Sundayā€™s events didnā€™t fail to add their own twists with red cards, missed penalties and the return to form of Clint Demspey alongside the extraordinary contribution of Pavel Pogrebnyak.

                Well I can assure you 95% of Chelsea fans were on #TeamAVB as well. But it wasn't going to happen. The senior players wanted him out & that sealed it for Roman. In hindsight, it might work out for the best this season cos we might see more intensity now, but it isn't healthy signs for the future unless we get a manager of the stature of Mourinho.

    Thinking of making some ludicrous end-of-the-season-itchy-triggerfinger changes, and I got crazy things on my mind. Should I get rid of either Silva or Aguerro, and bring in a Rooney or a Suarez? Can I really do that to myself? And what about old Bemba? Missed a penalty today, low confidence, tired from playing in the africa cup, and all that jazz. I'm even thinking of getting rid of Bale. It's all these shamateurs like Pogrebwhateverhescalled and Siggurdson and Holt that are making me think that the money tied-up in my titans could be better spent elsewhere!

      With you all the way Frogville.......total overhaul happening this week with the dross I'm currently trying to field, most of which are on red or orange or have become deadwood and rotation risks. Looking at punts all over the place starting with Sess, Dyer, Kelly and followed quickly by Aguero, Cahill, Raylor, BAE & Silva and possibly Bale and Ba

      most everyone/everyone. only pool players that are probably worth it are defenders. even with a double i wouldn't captain a defender (well I did once this season with bosingwa but thats another story)

        Think Reina could be a cheeky captain choice. Worse that is likely to happen is 3 and 3 because of save points thats a minimum 12 less chance of a booking or sending off , and probabl about the same chance of a cleanie as suarez has of scoring

    With Man Utds run of fixtures, i'm thinking of ignoring the rotation threat of nani/young/valencia and accepting that i might only get 2 out of 3 games from them. My wife's team has Valencia, I will go with either nani or young for my team. What is the general consensus on here between the two?

      Valencia, if fit. Nani not showing early season or last years form. Young hot and cold. If it looks like Valencia is back he's in. And you save a few quid....

        Yeah, Yaya isn't ideal but he's nailed on MCY coverage at least and he does chip in now and then. This is the problem with the front 3 - midfield suffers for it!

        Can't afford Vorm as 0.0m in the bank, plus I have Caulker as SWA coverage.

    Anybody good with maths? What do I have to do to the fixture difficulty of a defense (from the scout ticker), and the fixture difficulty of the opposition, to get a magic figure that will allow me to produce the ultimate rotation analysis? Thinking about how to get ahead next season.

        I'm thinking the fixture difficulty of the defender in question divided by the fixture difficulty of the opposition. The larger the number the better chance of a clean sheet. Seems a bit simplistic to me, so i'm thinking I might be wrong. Is it as easy as that?

          Nah a bit simplistic. It should be the fixture difficulty of the defender divided by the attacking difficulty of the opposition. Higher the number the better I think šŸ˜•

              You don't need to be a member to get the numbers. You can see them underneath the mini ticker on the main page. How come you are not a member? Seems a small price to pay for the amount of time that some of us spend on this site, regardless of how much of the "extra info" you will actually use.

                Interesting numbers, think I noticed them once & completely forgot about them. Never got around to joining & don't have a paypal account. I assume you are talking about Arsenal home 1300, Arsenal away 1350 etc or am I missing something?

                  That's the ones. They open up a whole new avenue for analysis if you are that way inclined. I think (hope) that they are updated regularly by the scout. Anyone have any idea how often these numbers are updated?
