Scarred by the resting of City duo Sergio Aguero and David Silva, Gameweek 27 will go down as one of the key periods in the Fantasy season as vice captains kicked in to gift or rob Fantasy managers of spoils. Sunday’s events didn’t fail to add their own twists with red cards, missed penalties and the return to form of Clint Demspey alongside the extraordinary contribution of Pavel Pogrebnyak.

Our members can now pick through all the statistics from the Gameweek and, as always, we’ve picked out some eye-catching numbers to digest. Of course, we’ve also included our prediction of where the Fantasy Premier League bonus will go…

    Is anybody getting in an Everton player for the DGW? Currently don't have any. I have Suarez and thinking about Skrtel or Carragher ( depending on funds) and Drenthe. For a 4point hit.

      Personally i am keeping right out of this double except for Enrique who happens to be in my team. I f i didn't have him i would'nt be getting him in and certainly not for a hit.

      Some people seem to be so swayed by the 'big name' of a club ie LPool and Chelsea, there are better players out there who are playing in more in-form teams for me

          Same as 'they are due a goal'- bull. Pog was on form and had a visiting Wolves team, exactly the type of player to get in and with his price tag as an extra bonus. Just because he plays for Fulham and Suarez plays for Pool people will ignore players like him until he goes, like this week, and gets 3

            That is true for SGW's, but for a DGW it is definitely worth it.

              I understand in certain ways, eg Sess to a Liverpool mid makes sort of sense as Sess will score 0 and a Liverpool midfielder should score at least 4 points over 2 games.

              My thoughts are though that Liverpool midfielders are shit and overpriced, look for a better, more in-form and cheaper player

              it all actually depends on whos having the DGW. if its MU, id certainly do hits to get MU coverage, but this is lPool we're talking about here.

      Look, I'd probably say no, but if your gut is telling you to do it, do it. Drenthe is guarenteed a start vs Spurs and should start vs Liverpool. That should be 4 points atleast there.

      You'll probably get told not to do it, but if he does well and you didn't do it, you'll kick yourself.

      Just back your gut. There's nothing worse than being talked out of a fantastic move.

    So my options are as follows:

    1 get skrtel and rooney and captain rvp
    2 get skrtel and suarez and captain him

    Both opotions leave me with sess banned, if i do 2 i could also get ashley young. In case of 1 i d have 7.4 for a mid

    who should i transfer out??? sess or valencia?

    at most i have 8.4 mil, not enough for adam, unless i do bale to adam

    hence i was thinking should i do either sess/valencia to henderson???

      Valencia might actually play next few games. Sess would miss like what 2-3 games? get rid of Sess, but if you have strong forwards i suggest just benched him. Henderson not a good FPL prospect. Adam would be a punt if you REALLY want a DGW players.

        That's the thing, I don't believe in this "he's due a goal stuff", but he looked very lively against Arsenal and I think is well worth a cheeky gamble seeing as he has two games.

        I think everyone (myself largely included) is actually too far the other way with this double gameweek - it's still a decent team playing twice.
