With a couple of goals and two bonus points in the first 21 gameweeks of the season, it’s fair to say James Morrison was far off the Fantasy radar in the first few months of the season. West Brom were toiling, struggling for goals and any semblance of form, with their players offering little to no appeal as Fantasy assets. All it needed, though, was a little tactical tweak from Roy Hodgson to turn things around…

Moved to a role in the hole, tucked in behind Marc-Antoine Fortune in a 4-4-1-1, Morrison has come to the fore in spectacular style. The Scot has grabbed two goals and four assists in the last six gameweeks, as the midlands outfit rack up the points, with four wins and a draw in their last six fixtures. Sunderland have been swept aside, Wolves and Chelsea lost their managers on the back of poor performances against Hodgson’s troops and, with Morrison instrumental to their about-turn in fortunes, we cast an eye on the in-form Scot in today’s Members article.

        I'd go Vorm
        I think will both will concede, but with city weaker away and Swansea a strong home defence I could see Swansea only letting one in, with many a few cheeky save points for Vorm. Where-as I could see newcastle getting easily getting destroyed..

      Nani looks the better captain choice. He missed the Europa game and should be raring to go. Another 2 goal 1 assist game for him. Now that Suarez not confirmed for both games, I am seriously considering Nani captain choice.

            RVP has a poor scoring record playing after European fixtures - Suarez is no brainer for me now to take off the armband. He has a poor scoring record, I was willing to overlook it for the DGW, but even the hint of him missing the first game is enough for me to strip him of the captaincy.

          safer? depends how you look at it. Skrtl with one clean sheet is lekely to get a total of 8 pts for the week. As captain, not too bad, but nani with 1 goal and a clean sheet will at least match that 8 pointer not to mention potential bonus. The risk is that Nani gets 1 goal and an assist with 2 bonus and a cleanie. That will yield him 13 points. Skrtl will need 2 cleanies and a bonus to match that. Then if Nani scores 2 with no assist and a cleanie, it could be a 16 point haul. Skrtl is safer if assuming Nani doesnt score, but if Nani even pulls in just 1 goal, then you are potentially losing out on much more.

              If both have average games - skrtl wins, but then again, what do you have to lose with skrtl scoring 8 points and nani 3(assuming no attacking points for him). You will lose out on 5 pts only. If nani however scores 15 and skrtl scores 4, you have given up 11 points. Either way, I believe Nani outscores skrtl this week.

            Yeah in all honesty I have to agree with you fella yeah. Maybe Ba to Suarez is the best option then? Feel I need some Liverpool attacking coverage with such a good fixture list from now on. Though Ba's next 2 games look real good (just those two mind)

        Adam is safe option. FK's and corners and pens (i reckon), but these all are affected if Gerrard is back. Argh. Wish if I knew Gerrard was back. Ba to Suarez is VERY tempting tho he hasn't even got ONE double point haul.

      I brought in Gerrard too - need a differential. If Gerrard plays is iffy, but he will be on penos and can win some bonus - although with suarez out the first game, i imagine pool wont be winning any penos.

                yes I saw that - wonder when that twitter was posted. For me its too late as I already brought him onto my team earlier in the week. Hoping he at least plays one of the games, but definitely made my mind up about wether to captain him or not - will be going with Nani now.

    Am wondering if I should jump on the Poggy or Suarez bandwagon but that would leave me a selection dilemma. Here’s the team so far:

    Mign (vorm)

    Lescott, Clichy, J Evans, (BAE) (Simpson)

    Silva, Siggy, Bale, Dempsey, Mata

    VP(C), Holt (Ba)

    With Kompany out there is a chance that both Lescott and Clichy might play again but that might be tempting fate.

    If I bring in Suarez for the DGW I’ll then transfer to poggy next week but it will be a 4ph. Also who would I sub from the midfield??

      Only get Suarez if it doesn't cost you and I wouldn't even waste a transfer on him. I kept him for too long, he's playing shite, thought the rest would imprive his goalscoring. I'm doin so badly I don't care about dropping points. Got Sagna, Tim Cahill and Howard this week. Van Persie captain and Tim Cahil vice.

    To put you out of your misery (to a certain degree anyway) you were100% correct with the players out. Unfortunately only 33% right with the ins, but I'll leave you guessing on that one overnight 😀

      I probably would just get it out of the way. I never have a 'spare' transfer to waste on a keeper, take the opportunity to do it when you've got a DGW.

    A) Aguero + Ba + Sessegnon -> Rooney + Suarez + Miyaichi/Surman (4 pt hit)
