Fantasy Premier League managers cannot ignore Liverpool’s upcoming fixtures, even if the Reds have disappointed in recent weeks.

Jurgen Klopp’s men face Huddersfield (away), Cardiff (home), Arsenal (away) and Fulham (home) between now and Gameweek 12.

Those fixtures warrant investment but recent displays have complicated the debate over which Liverpool assets are the best ones to own.

We take a look at some of the most asked questions about Liverpool ahead of Gameweek 9.

If Salah is only out for one match it makes sense to just keep him through it, doesn’t it?

Well I have Robbo and Pereira, and was planning to make the Per > TAA move this wk, but their relative goal and benching has stalled that for now. One of the reasons I postponed my WC

Having the same dilemma. Currently leaning towards doubling up on LIV for the next 2 GWs and then swap TAA for Pereira as Leicester’s fixtures look promising post facing Arsenal

Everyone is probably bored, so you'll can help me out ^_^ is Kennedy a good option considering price and fixtures as a 4th or 5th mid?
      Kepa/Hamer

      Alonso TAA Trippier* Bennett AWB*

      Hazard Mane Richarlison Ramsey* Hojbjerg

      Lacazette Aguero Jiminez

1 FT, 0.2M In the bank

      Trippier to Mendy/Robertson

Ramsey and AWB for Mendy/Robertson and Kennedy? (4th mid)

Ramsey and Hojbjerg for Maddison and Kennedy? (5th mid)

Aguero and Mane for Firmino and Sterling (pointless?)

      Something else?

      Save?

You mean Kenedy? His underlying stats have not been great this season. But at 4.9 worth considering with fixture swing imo.

High level FPL debate. Which option is better?

Option 1: Wildcard now and get the top 10k template. Why? Because despite how it seems almost all of the tens of thousands in front of you won't be engaged members of the FFS community and won't have the template.

Option 2: Save the wildcard. Why? Wait for the template to change and then Wildcard it in. Those who Wildcarded early with be scrambling to get the team you can get in one fail swoop.

Ahahaha, you've probably flagged this for a HT too 😉

As always, it depends on your teams performances. Wildcard now if you're seeing red arrows and taking hits, save if you aren't.

Disagree. Red arrows are done. The next week is a new prospect. This is a form of gambler's fallacy.

On one level I agree with you, but I think that sometimes red arrows can accumulate if you're set back further amd further. It has certainly happened to me in the past. But i generally agree with you; often the best thing after a red arrow is to just sit on a FT.

There is no template. If you wait, and WC later, you'll be WCing to a team that you like, but no-one else has or can get. If that WC team is easily gettable by others, then you've wasted a ton of points by waiting to WC.

I read the article and I conclude that Mane is the type of player who does nothing except scoring that one goal. Doesn't create chances, he just darts towards the goal and scores one. After that he stops trying so hard.

Last season, he never scored a brace, and scored a goal and assist only once. The season before, 2x and 4x respectively.

Might be time to upgrade to Salah.

Would you use a wildcard to upgrade this...

        Patricio / Button
        Mendy / Alonso / Trip / Robbo / WanB
        Salah / Haz / Richi / Fraser / Mendy
        Aguero / Mitrovic / Quamer

        Button / WanB / Salah / Quaner
        to
        Fabianksi / Doherty / Shaqiri / Lacazette

If Salah is out. Surely Shaqiri is an option. And he can be swapped for Maddison.

no mention of vvd..? or wijnaldum..? surely could get some points next month

also the entire article focuses on salah having 'more' shots, 'more' touches and 'more' chances.. concluding that he's the 'better' option. However if you were to take these statistics and present them as a conversion rate % then salah becomes the 'worse' option over mane or firmino.. because he misses more.

Basically mane and firmino have done as well as salah with less opportunities. so you could argue that salah is 'less' effective and more wasteful. all depends on how you wanna look at it.

obviously with more chances you should have a higher chance of scoring but from what i've seen salah is not the player he was last season while mane and firmino are doing the same. and with a significant difference in price I don't see why the article is telling you salah is a must have over the other two. with that extra money you can improve your team elsewhere.

my bet is mane does better than salah in terms of 'points per million' over the next 4 weeks. salah simply isn't worth 13 million.
