Fears over Eden Hazard‘s (£11.3m) fitness were realised this afternoon as the Chelsea winger, who is currently the most-owned midfielder in Fantasy Premier League, was not named either in Maurizio Sarri’s starting XI or on the substitutes’ bench for the trip to Turf Moor.

Hazard was the most-sold FPL player ahead of the Gameweek 10 deadline yesterday afternoon but was also the third-most-popular captaincy choice of this weekend, having been handed the armband by over 785,000 Fantasy managers.

Pedro (£6.4m) and Willian (£7.4m) line up either side of Alvaro Morata (£8.7m), with Ross Barkley (£5.7m) replacing Mateo Kovacic (£5.9m) in central midfield.

Chelsea are otherwise unchanged from the side that drew 2-2 with Manchester United, with Thursday night’s hat-trick hero Ruben Loftus-Cheek (£5.2m) among the substitutes for the visitors.

Their hosts make one change from the side that lost 5-0 to Manchester City, with the fit-again Robbie Brady (£5.4m) replacing the ill Aaron Lennon (£5.0m) on the flank.

Brady hasn’t started a league match since December 2017 but up until his season-ending injury last year had delivered more crosses than any other FPL midfielder in 2017/18.

Arsenal have made two changes to their starting XI from the side that beat Leicester City 3-1 last Monday night, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£10.8m) getting his first league start in three matches in place of Henrikh Mkhitaryan (£6.8m).

Aubameyang, who scored on four occasions in his previous two substitute appearances, will likely come into the side on his usual left flank, meaning Alex Iwobi (£5.5m) will switch over to the right wing.

Nacho Monreal (£5.5m) and Sead Kolasinac (£4.9m) have once again failed to recover from hamstring injuries, so Granit Xhaka (£5.3m) is preferred to Stephan Lichtsteiner (£4.6m) at left-back. Matteo Guendouzi (£4.5m) thus fills Xhaka’s vacated space in midfield, with Aaron Ramsey (£7.4m) once again among the substitutes.

Petr Cech (£5.0m) is also back on the bench for the Gunners.

Crystal Palace have made one change from the side that lost to Everton a week ago, with Jordan Ayew (£5.8m) replacing Jeffrey Schlupp (£4.5m).

That would likely mean a return to a 4-3-3 with Wilfried Zaha (£6.9m) and Andros Townsend (£5.7m) lining up either side of Ayew in a three-man attack, although Roy Hodgson could stick with a 4-4-2 and use James McArthur (£4.8m) and one of Zaha or Townsend as the two wide midfielders.

Max Meyer (£5.6m) and Alexander Sorloth (£4.8m) return from illness and are back among the substitutes.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (£4.3m), the most-benched player of Gameweek 10, might well be needed as an auto-sub by many Fantasy managers given the no-shows of Marko Arnautovic (£7.0m) and Andrew Robertson (£6.4m) yesterday and Hazard today.

Burnley XI (4-4-1-1): Hart; Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor; Gudmundsson, Cork, Defour, Brady; Hendrick; Vokes.

Chelsea XI (4-3-3): Arrizabalaga; Azpilicueta, Rudiger, David Luiz, Alonso; Kante, Jorginho, Barkley; Pedro, Morata, Willian.

Crystal Palace XI (4-3-3): Hennessey; Wan-Bissaka, Tomkins, Sakho, van Aanholt; McArthur, Milivojevic, Kouyate; Townsend, Ayew, Zaha.

Arsenal XI (4-2-3-1): Leno; Bellerin, Mustafi, Holding, Xhaka; Torreira, Guendouzi; Iwobi, Ozil, Aubameyang; Lacazette.

This may be the first season in some time whereby you need 3 really decent bench players week in week out.

Rotation in City and Chelsea midfield and Liverpool defence means serious back ups are needed.

Consequently, this is the first GW this season that I have 3 playing players on the bench - all 3 called into fore as well.

Two years ago I removed Stekelenburg I think right before he saved two pens in one game, only 8 goalkeepers did that in English football

Decent player, very young still and been asked to do a job up front with little service. Bags of potential, that's what they've paid for by the way.

DDG was on 6 saves, bumped down to 5??

The ultimate insult to the worst pick of the season. GRRR

U was thinking of spending my 0.5 off on Vardy to Firmino but I'm tempted to gamble a bit and go for Morata instead. I did Arnautovic to Wilson last night to cover any potential price rises and because even if Arnautovic is worse than West Ham are letting on, they have a nightmare injury list that may hurt his prospects. Morata looks to be coming into a bit of form and may be cutting out his wasteful ways.
