The penultimate fixture in Gameweek 28 brought us yet another dramatic finale involving Arsenal as Arsene Wengerโ€™s side bundled a winning goal at the death to deny a battling Newcastle.

Statistically, there were some outstanding performances on show which we will break down in a moment, along with our prediction for the Fantasy Premier League bonus points.

Firstly, there was also a dispute involving the assist for the winning goal. The assist for the touch on Theo Walcottโ€™s cross was first awarded to Robin Van Persie and then removed and handed to Aaron Ramsey. Itโ€™s unclear whether Ramsey did indeed get a clear touch on the cross before it was blocked by the defender in the box but, interestingly, Opta have also confirmed a Ramsey touch on Walcottโ€™s cross. While this goal and the award of the assist could yet be reviewed by the Press Association, right now it sits with Ramsey โ€“ denying Walcott his second assist on a night where he sparkled on the right flank.

        Yes. A good recovery after 8 points from my first 5 players on Saturday. But it was looking even better before the late yellow cards and the removal of RVP's phantom assist!

    Need two to play for next week from BAE, McClean, Ryo, Gylfi and Kelly.

    Am tearing my hair out over it, cant imagine what itll be like by the end of the week. Currently tempted to leave BAE and Kelly on the bench and play two of Ryo, Gylfi and McClean. But who? And what order on the bench?

      Well, always prioritise attackers first (unless a MF is at OT and a DF at home to Wigan). Then work from there.

      Siggy then your gut feeling. McClean for me; more proven versus a very dodgy defence.

      Thanks all. Will probably take the input regarding Ryo and will definitely play McClean. Not sure about Siggy or BAE yet.

      Also will have double Liverpool defense. Would it make sense to play BAE or Kelly instead of one of them (Enrique...Skrtel will definitely stay) or is that just running away from committing to my Liverpool cover?

      Pan's Labyrinth is great. District 9 was okay, too heavy handed on the political agenda to be able to truly enjoyable for me...and not enough laser blasts. ๐Ÿ™‚

      Pan's Labyrinth was pretty decent...

      District 9 took A LONG TIME to get good, but when it finally did, I thought it was awesome...

          Hollywood Lisbeth was closer to novel Lisbeth....and Daniel Craig is a lot easier on the eyes....lol. Still mad Mrs. Streep won best actress over Rooney. I like the extended Swedish versions a lot but they ran out of steam in the last movie....

              Yeah, they decided to film both of the last couple of movies in one giant project. Mara, Craig and the crew didn't like working in the cold LOL. They're going to be good, come on, it's Dave Fincher! I'm excited. I saw that movie thrice in a week, loved it.

          OK, here goes:

          I'm not a fan of the Fulham/Mignolet combination because while Fulham are returning attacking bonuses relatively regularly, their defensive returns are not as good as their fixtures should suggest. Personally I'm a bigger fan of having a "top 6" keeper, so I'd take a cheeky punt at Friedel/DeGea depending on who hits form first.

          You've got an awfully balanced defence, are you going with the form defenders and anyone cheap to fill the rest of the slots up? I suppose it's a fantastic strat to have at the moment given that the midfielders and strikers are performing relatively consistent at the moment, but if Spurs and City start to run out of steam, it's always possible to switch to attacking fullbacks such as A Cole or Evra that would probably give bonuses/attacking returns.

          For someone so high up the rankings, I'm surprised that apart from RVP/Rooney/Young, you don't really have anymore "high-end" players, so to speak. Got cash lying around? I'm sure you got Bale and Demps when they were still in the 8.0 range. Would recommend Walcott ONLY if you desperately need to catch someone.

          Also, Ba->Hoilett. Absolute sex.

          Hopefully this wall of text doesn't put you off. I only started posting today and I got a bit of tailwind, sorry again ๐Ÿ™‚

            I now own Young, Evans and Rooney so can't get any more United. I'd say Dempsey and Bale are fairly high end.

            Hoilett? Good player, poor FPL prospect IMO.

            Bale is on the potential cull list dependant on form, a switch to Mata or Walcott can not be ruled out.
