We had 64 fantasy managers going head-to-head across double Gameweek 28, all looking for a place in the next round of the Members Paddy Power Cup II. You can see who progressed by viewing the full set of results right here.

Upsetting the odds this week were seamus and Billy Ketsu, who eliminated the number one and two ranked Fantasy managers in the round. Top seed JimNastics bowed out 67 – 60 to seamus, and second seed herzzz was knocked out 64 – 39 by Billy Ketsu.

Top score this week went to cup regular Bend it Like Bennett, who edged out the third highest-scorer chinmusic 82 – 77. Disastrous luck for chinmusic.

After the round three oddity of no drawn ties, we had a solitary draw in the fourth. Thanks to his slightly superior ranking (43,730th), Raizo comes out on top after his 56 – 56 draw with dlpc (58,650th).

Congratulations to the 32 teams advancing to the fifth round, and hard luck to those defeated. The draw for the next round will be made shortly.

A reminder that our fifth Paddy Power Cup is now open for entry. This tournament is open to all – full details can be found in this post.

UCL managers - Are you going with Ronaldo, Messi and either Drogba/Zlatan/Gomez depending on the draw?

      Thats better!

Stuggling to decide on my line up and sub order this week 😕

      Currently

      Schwarzer
      Evans Santon Skrtel Caulker
      Yaya Bale Dempsey
      Rooney Suarez RVP

      Reina Siggy McClean Cahill

Keeper choice and whether to play Siggy or McClean instead of Caulker are my main head aches. Any opinions appreciated.

Well people below disagree with me about Sigurdsson, hmm...
I fancy a Pool CS, QPR are horrible, but if you're one of those 'spread the risk' people then go Schwarzer, i just think the Swans will be on a massive high after last week, and Siggy looks dangerous whoever and wherever he is playing.

You got it right IMHO, though I would leave out Santon, in the end he and Caulker have about the same amount of chance. I think Swans can go in there and get a win. Think Swans lost the last meeting 2-0.

McClean's been lively but largely ineffective since Sess's suspension, then again it is Blackburn... I'd go for Siggy, just, methinks. That's if you choose to bench Caulker, which I probably would.

I would play HBA every week and play Raylor instead of Santon when he is fit. But until Santon is dropped I can see Pardew chopping and changing with who plays. if it's a physical game he will go with Raylor and if it's a more open attacking game like at Fulham or Arsenal, Ben Arfa will get the nod.

Jack(off)Attack re: previous page, I think % ownership of a player does come into play sometimes.

Sig is different as he's a budget player. Just as my failed punt on Beausejour was.

Each to their own, but I take the % ownership of a player onboard when deciding on some transfers just as I would with who my nearest rivals own.

All about risk vs reward just as it is risk vs damage limitation.

I think it matters a lot, what position you're in.

If you're top of all your mini leagues and your rivals all have say Ade, Rooney, RVP, it makes more sense to me to go with those 3 (if you think they'll do well) rather than take a risk on say Drogba, with his low ownership.

If he does well, great, you get further ahead; but you could also own the others and have a good chance of maintaining your lead.

It's all extra info to take into account I guess.

Suarez usually plays 90 mins of every game. He could get a few mins rest but it might as well be against Stoke. I like Odem, he has potential of good scores. I think Rooney has risen the max amount for this GW already so he'll stay 12.5 until Saturday night.

I think Tevez is the one to have over the next few weeks. Mankini knows that Aguero looks tired and has played alot of matches, Balotelli is an enigma, i don't even think he knows what he's going to do next and Dzeko appears to be super sub. Mankini knows in his heart of hearts he needs Tevez to win the league, time will tell.

Folks, if I have a strategy of three more expensive defenders and two cheapies, which three teams must be represented with their expensive defenders.

    I have:

LIV MIC and MUN. Is this correct? Is TOT maybe higher priority rather then MIC?

Just my opnion but i think their might be some upset people at the weekend, if Valencia plays tonight and then Nani is fit for the weekend, i think Nani will come in for Tony V. I cant see him playing twice in 4 days just back from injury, especially with a fit and raring to go Nani waiting in the wings. Id be wary of both ditching Nani and bringing in Valencia this week.

I'm actually hoping Valencia plays 60 min tonight so that he's fully fit for the weekend. Nani hasn't really done much as of late, and every time Tony V played before his injury he did something. SAF never cared much about resting players. If a player is in form he plays him regardless.

One 60min game and he will be fully match fit? Ok then. Valencia was indeed very good before his injury but theirs nothing to say he will return in that sort of form. Nani i believe has just signed a massive new contract and has pretty much played every game when fit this season. Anyone thinking about getting Valencia and thinking he wont get rotated is deluded.

Nani got an assist in each of his last 2 appearances since returning from injury (before getting this slight injury again).

Valencia is mainly in for being an assist machine, but Nani will always be more likely to score double the amount of goals as Valencia.

It's a case of price though and where you can use the £2.5million.

I want to bring one of the Nani, Young and Valencia in, but think people are getting sidetracked by the Wolves fixture.

If Valencia and Young both start tonight and play 90mins and Nani isn't fully fit, Ferguson could easily start with Park and Giggs on the flanks against Wolves.

I suppose that is possible although i would expect Young to play both while he is playing well, hes a patchy player so while hes playing well id expect Fergie to keep playing him.

Oh yeah, I'm not saying it 100% will happen, but also I wouldn't rule out Ferguson resting any of them.

Loads of people seem convinced that Ferguson won't rotate, but he's always done it.

Think Young is far more likely to play both than Valencia is.

Nani has rest in his favour, but lack of injury update, to know if he's actually fit.

I made the mistake last week of waiting on news on Glen Johnson until the last minute and taking no news as good news after only being rested as "precaution" and then after I took my hit found out he wouldn't play in either DGW match.

All the considered interesting managers seem to be around at the moment, so would appreciate some advice for GW29:

    Current Team:

    Krul (Ming)
    Senderos Kompany Enrique (Tawio Caulker)
    Bale Dempsey Silva McClean (Pilks)
    Rooney RVP Suarez

My headscratcher this week with 1FT and 0.4 in the bank:

    Evans -> Tawio, or
Evans -> Kompany Pilks -> Valencia

    Any thoughts guys, cheers.
