Shaqiri back in the Liverpool attack as Klopp continues with a 4-2-3-1

The final match of Gameweek 14 is the third local derby of the day, with Everton making the short trip across Stanley Park to face Liverpool.

The Reds are unbeaten in the Premier League this season and have only conceded one goal in six top-flight matches at Anfield.

Marco Silva’s side have only lost one of their last seven Premier League fixtures, meanwhile, keeping four clean sheets along the way.

There were no major shocks upon the release of the teamsheets, with Everton indeed unchanged from the side that beat Cardiff City 1-0 in Gameweek 13.

Richarlison (£7.0m) leads the line for Everton again, with Yerry Mina (£5.4m) continuing at centre-back.

Xherdan Shaqiri (£7.0m), Trent Alexander-Arnold (£5.2m) and Fabinho (£5.5m) all return to Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI after missing out in midweek, with the Reds looking like they will again line up in a 4-2-3-1.

This formation will presumably see Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) leading the line, with Roberto Firmino (£9.2m) dropping into “the hole” and Shaqiri playing out wide on the right.

Andrew Robertson (£6.5m) and Virgil van Dijk (£6.0m) also start for the third time in a week, while Joe Gomez (£5.1m) moves over to centre-back at the expense of Dejan Lovren (£4.9m).

Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Shaqiri, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

      Same. I think the loss to Arsenal would affect Spurs. Meanwhile Felipe Anderson has been really good recently + has nice fixtures coming up.

      What’s more annoying - a good FPL team with almost no viable FPL options (Arsenal, Chelsea) or one with too many options to get the right one (City, Spurs)?

      0.8 ITB. I don't mind my team but currently have no bench for the upcoming fixtures.

          Sorry, just re-read your message. With Liverpool's defensive record, what's wrong with a double up? I guess I could keep Doherty or bring in Digne.

          But I think I prefer Robertson/Alli over Digne or Doherty/Mane.

      Salah > sterling (seems likely sterling will be benched whereas salah will likely play)

        Ok... So- this has to be the toughest part of the season coming up- trying to second guess managers and rotation and all the rest of it is probably impossible. I guess we just have to make calculated moves based on what we know and what trends have been.

        Aguero drops tonight in price.... supposedly may not be fit to play this week.
        Most will now look to Auba for a straight swap ( who rises tonight) or Kane.

        Kane doesn't usually get rested- look at this as a Tuesday night CL game. Kane plays weekends and then plays mid week- usually the 90. Also has Southampton at home despite his form supposedly not being great- he has bagged points in the last 4. The worry is Barcelona the following week in the CL- however i don't see Poch resting him on the weekend either- he may not play the 90 vs Leicester with that fixture in mind. ( prob not a Cpt choice that week anyways).

        Auba- The tougher fixture of United away and then it turns pretty decent. A man on form and leading the golden boot race who is set to rise tonight is tough to overlook. For the simple reason- I wouldn't know which other offensive Arsenal player to bring in with their run coming up other than Lacca... Should be nailed to start the next few- United without a defence does make this fixture stand out more than just on paper.

        Man city---- There is NO guarantee that Sterling or Sane start this week especially with Chelsea on the weekend. If you haven't bought in Sterling as yet... I really wouldn't suggest it. Sane seems more likely to play with Pep's post match comments and without Mendy creates the width City look for on that left flank.. Also--- every game Sane has started this season he has given returns!

        Hazard has been off the ball recently- Wolves away and then City at home... I can justify making way for Sane for him or dropping him for someone else- the questions is who would that someone else be? Alli/ Eriksen/ Son.... I don't know which of these 3 looks most nailed and form doesn't suggest all of them.

        The question is:
        Auba or Kane?
        Sterling/ Sane/ Alli/ Eriksen or Son?

        If you go Kane... what Arsenal cover can you consider?

        I am going Aguero and Hazard to Auba and Sane this week....

              There's certainly some subjectivity in the Sane case - although the save point stands as evidence to support an assist.

              For VVD I can't see the convoluted logic that leads to an assist.

                  Opta assist assessment is annoying, and with Sane captain particularly annoying, but done now.

                It wont change. For every 0.2 he goes up, u gain 0.1. You buy him at 11.0, if he goes to 11.4 you gain 0.2. If he goes to 11.5, u still only gain 0.2.

                        Yup. Yday, Kun to Auba/Mitro was in my thoughts or Pat > Fab.

                        The Auba brace today made him the obvious move. No clue when I'll WC. Can't see many necessary changes so will probably leave it late to a time when I'm sure my pre - WC team doesn't outscore my WC team. If a couple spurs and arsenal assets were on fire then it would it easy to go in GW15 or 16 ...

                    Then sufficient money next week to do Aguero and Hazard to Aubameyang and Sterling.

                          I agree with you all. I’m just having a hard time pulling the trigger on getting rid of Salah. I think I will to Pats to Fabs this week and then do Salah and Aguero to sterling and Kane/Aubameyang.
