With Robin Van Persie a constant in most Fantasy squads and Wayne Rooney’s recent form lifting him to near essential status, there appears to be just a single slot up for grabs in our Fantasy forward lines. With this in mind, our two-part members article plunders our own ICT Index scores and Opta statistics for the previous six Gameweeks to assess form, identifying would-be targets in the mid-range and budget price brackets.

We start today, analysing those players open to Fantasy managers with cash to spare: forwards available in the 7.0-9.5 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) price range.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Not the worst thing in the world, looking at Fiso people are actually buying Ba in towards the end of the week whereas he was being sold at the beginning. I think if there is ever a game that might bring back his good form, it's this one.

I'd still captain him, if he is benched he will only come on if United are desperate and he will probably destroy a knackered Wolves defence, otherwise he won't play and you'll get your vc.

I know my main rival will captain Rooney, so I will do the same. Not doing so last week was a killer.

I've got the Pog as v/c and quite happy at that. I dont really think SAF will take any risks now at this stage of the season. I think he will play Rooney Sunday and take him off on 60 mins or when they are at least 2 goals ahead, whatever comes soonest, just my tuppence worth.

Haha 🙂 Perhaps it is based in blind faith or personal hope, but I think SAF knows that as much as Wolves have been conceding a lot lately they aren't always easy to beat at home. In fact wasn't it Wolves who ruined United's non-losing streak the other year and nobody saw it coming? If he's fit, I believe he will play.

Question about UCL. Say the semi finalists end up being Madrid, Barca, Bayern and Chelsea.. there's no possible way of affording 15 players from those 4 teams. You probably couldn't even afford 11.
So would it be worth loading up on cheap APOEL players and leaving them to rot in the semis and final?

Brunt scores points away from home when you bench him, not at home vs Wigan as you'd expect - wouldn't go there.

I sort of get a feeling he could stifle Morrison a bit though - might avoid both and go Myaichi next week.

Morrison could still get a decent return this week if Odem is out. He's notched up 26 points in his last 4 away games, Fulham, Wolves, Stoke & United. Thats a pretty good return given the opposition and with Wigan at home looking to go forward it should leave gaps.

I'm really at crossroads about Silva, had him since GW 1, and I'm reluctant to sell him, but he dipped in form and there seem to be a lot of better options out there: Walcott, Rosicky, Valencia (if he comes back on Sunday) etc. What is everybody else doing with him?

Weak hand there from Hart. I must be the only one who thinks he's grossly overrated.

No nothing against City. I think he's a good keeper but nowhere near as good as you guys and the media make out. That fk wasn't even in the corner, poor goalkeeping.

      Yup, great keeper

Can't believe Fergie turned down the chance to sign him.

Looking like both Manchester clubs out.

Bad for those of who like watching Prem teams do well in Europe, but good FPL wise.

I agree, not worth having City striker with a combination of those fixtures and no guarantee of even vaguely knowing who will be playing.

Is this the same team that started the season so brightly?

    This is beyond shit.

I hope every Chelsea player is watching this game and grows a pair. City aren’t as good as everyone thinks they are.

Balotello is such a liability in that (or any) team - whatever he gives you in goals he more than compensates in stupid sendings off, stupid frees and shows of petulence.
