As mentioned in yesterday’s first instalment of this two-part series, with Robin Van Persie nailed-on for the vast majority of Fantasy managers and Wayne Rooney’s form and fixtures affording the United man the chance to rack up the points, the remaining slot in Fantasy front lines is shaping up to be more crucial than ever.

Having already discussed the various mid-price options available, we turn our attentions to the budget bracket. We take a look at our own ICT Index scores and Opta statistics for the previous six Gameweeks to assess form, with those forwards priced at 6.5 or under in Fantasy Premier League (FPL) coming in for close attention.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

SILVA, to keep for 1 more game? If not, who should I get instead?

already have Dempsey & Bale. Can pretty much get anyone but someone for 10.5 or under preferably

Would be tempted by Gerrard if you don't have Suarez ... could be worth waiting til the week after though if there's nothing pressing.

keep. Value is secondary to points and he has a home game. Why is he dropping so fast when Aguero's not flagged or anything?!

Go for Walcott next week. He's more nailed on than other expensive mids and has been in great form since Sagna returned:

      3 12 2 15 4 5 which is 6.8ppg.

And that included TOT NEW and liv.

    Vorm, Mign

BAE, Lescott, Clichy, Simpson, J Evans

    Silva, Bale, Dempsey, Siggy, Mata

    VP, Ba, Holt

I was originally thinking of dumping Ba and Silva/Mata for Ronney and another midfielder but am concerned that Rooney will not play.

Is it better to dump a man city defender and/or dump silva/mata and bring in Young which gives Man u attacking coverage. If Ba is rubbish again then he's out next week!

Looking at the effects of the FA Cup matches on GW29 and GW30 for the teams involved :

    GW29

17 Mar 12:45 EVERTON v SUNDERLAND (FA Cup)
17 Mar 17:30 TOTTENHAM v BOLTON (FA Cup)
18 Mar 14:05 CHELSEA v Leicester City (FA Cup)
18 Mar 16:00 LIVERPOOL v STOKE (FA Cup)

    20 Mar 19:45 Aston Villa v BOLTON
    20 Mar 20:00 Blackburn v SUNDERLAND

    21 Mar 19:45 Man City v CHELSEA
    21 Mar 19:45 TOTTENHAM v STOKE
    21 Mar 20:00 EVERTON v Arsenal
    21 Mar 20:00 Qpr v LIVERPOOL

    GW30

    24 Mar 12:45 CHELSEA v TOTTENHAM
    24 Mar 15:00 BOLTON v Blackburn
    24 Mar 15:00 LIVERPOOL v Wigan
    24 Mar 15:00 SUNDERLAND v QPR
    24 Mar 15:00 Swansea v EVERTON
    24 Mar 17:30 STOKE v Man City

Chelsea, Liverpool, Stoke, Sunderland and Bolton play 3 days after their cup match, Everton and Tottenham 4 days.
They then have the double whammy of playing the next GW with less rest time . Chelsea, Tottenham, Stoke, Everton and Liverpool play again in 3 days, Bolton and Sunderland in 4 days.

Injuries will be the first worry. With two GWs spaced by as little as 3 days, an injury in a cup match may well rule a player out of both GWs.

Rotation is the other. First to consider is whether league will be prioritized over cup, or vice versa. We'll make the assumption that teams chasing CL or survival will prioritize the league. That would leave Everton, Sunderland, Liverpool and Stoke prioritizing the cup (feel free to bash me about this Pool fans). The result may be some surprise team news in their GW29 league fixtures.

With 3 games in as few as 6 days for some teams, don't be surprised to see players rested in GW29/GW30 fixtures.

The team values in the ticker gets updated I presume?

Indicated by the ticker's default starting position moving up to the current GW

or is there something i am missing?

How does this team look for this weekend? 1.5 in bank, was going to put Valencia in for Yaya but might just save transfer now if doesn't look he will play.

    Schwarzer
    Skrtel Evans Santon
    Bale McLean Dempsey(vc) Yaya
    Van Persie Rooney(c) Ba

    Bench: Mignolet Sigurdsson Enrique Caulker

Santon might get taken off at HT. Happened to him quite regularly over the last few weeks

    Which options better:

    A) Silva>Young

    B) Take a 4 point hit
    Suarez>Rooney
    Silva>7.3 midfielder

I am currently sitting top of my main league.

i have the same choice. Am concerned Rooney will be rested and/or on the bench. Young should play though.

I'm worried he will be rested.

No I have to transfer Silva out to get Rooney in so have to take the hit.

I'd hold Suarez for the extra week cos of Liverpools performance V Everton going into this game, i expect them to score a few goals.
Silva - Young looks a great move at this stage

    Captain dilemma.....

    Options
    1. Rooney, is he fit, is he tired. If he is ok then a good bet but....

    2. Bale Spurs play FACup on Sat Stoke on Sunday so an extra days rest may help Spurs to do weel, but without Adebayor, who is a doubt, will they be able to. Also he could get injured in cup ?

    3. Dempsey, at home to Swansea appears nice, but Swansea hog possesion and Fulham dont have many ball winners. Will he even see the ball to score goals? Also with Pog stealing some in a probably tight game is it worth it?

    4. RVP Everton are solid at home, but will they concentrate on the FA Cup. RVP has no game so is rested and no danger of injury

    5. Suarez, played well v Everton but Fa Cup first and QPR are desperate

    6. Morrisson @ Wigan. West Brom are great away from home, and Morrison is in form and playing behind the striker. A great differential

At the moment I have Bale (c) Rooney (vc) If there were no Rooney doubts then id definitely go for him
    Is RVP a safer VC?

I have Rooney as c - I don't believe this talk that he won't play/will be benched. If anything SAF will start him and maybe take him off early if it's comfortable. I have Ba as my vc but from the list you've provided I'd choose RVP.

What Rooney doubts. just captain him, you'll regret it otherwise. If you have any doubts make sure you have a good vc, don't take the c of your top choice over some doubt that has no basis from anywhere other than knee-jerky, panicky minds (remember RvP v Rovers)

      1. This.
      2. Bale is a machine. He can play 90 minutes 7 days straight.
      3. Last week Dempsey scored one of his best GWs this season. How is Pog stealing anything? Swansea's defence is good though.
      4. No danger? RVP is like Samuel L. Jackson in Unbreakable.
      5. Luis Woodwork (c)?
      6. Relax. He is a punt player.

RVP safer VC I think, yeah.
