      It's annoying but we have to hold until the presser tmrw where we'll get no info whatsoever and take the drop on the chin.. And then wait in panic until the team sheets come out. Not gonna be a fun 48 hours for us

    Would you sell Laca, if that give you enough funds to upgrade Rich on Hazard ? I think Hazard is great C option through next few weeks, and Laca isnt, especially LAca isnt first option right now.

        Odd attitude to have mate. Kind of encourages us to put as little thought into a response as possible.

        Sometimes I spend 10+ minutes looking into the best possible answer and writing it up for someone. It's not like I think I'm a hero. I just think it should be normal to think your answer through so the site isn't just meaningless, uniform responses. But it's a shame that if I ever put that much effort in, I usually ill never find out if the poster has ever even read it.

          I think Auba’s start at Southampton is a given for sure as he’ll have had 8 days rest.

          Equally, a2 day turnaeound between starts isn’t something I think he’ll want to put Auba through so I think the Auba Southampton/Laca spurs scenario is the favourite at the minute

            it all depends on the fact what emery considers more important. Arsenal is a reaaally longshot to win PL and probably emery also knows that ship has sailed, so will concentrate to win some cups, bringing his best team which includes auba from start. But okay, we will see

              It’s fun trying to second guess these guys, it my money is on Auba starting Sunday, Laca starting Wednesday v Spurs, Auba starting weekend again v Burnley

              It keeps them both from clocking up excessive minutes in a 3 day period going into the 3 league games between Boxing Day/New Years day

      Have to figure one of Sane & Sterling is going to be rested.
      Both put in a big shift (particularly Sane) against Hoffenheim.

      Not an easy game for City Everton have done well recently on the road against big sides - really should have had a CS at Anfield.

      Personally reckon all the big hitters are going to get a similar amount of points over the Xmas period so it's all going to be about nailing the captaincies.

        Personally I’d be so hesitant to captain a city asset in this period for this reason. Kane I’m more comfortable with, similarly Auba

        Haz & Salah also look rock solid for maximum starts/minimum rotation

          I'm City free atm.
          Must be honest and say original plan was to ship Salah for Sterling this week. But utd defence a mess regardless of the Mourinho bus theories.
          Also once Salah got going last season scored consistently.
          Regardless of how good City are rotation and time management very off-putting. Already a factor in quieter parts of the season. Think even Pep will be pragmatic about seeing games out.
          Like my Salah, haz, Anderson, richarlison mid as pretty guaranteed starters.
          Also like Salah or haz as banks if I do have to make changes.

      Definitely not sane to Mahrez. Very very good side, I'd consider ditching Rich for a couple weeks if you can fund Anderson and have transfers to burn, but really not much needs doing there.

      Lovely squad. Having Doherty I would certainly change Patricio though. Can you afford a better keeper than Fab? I'm planning to ship Patricio as soon as I have spare transfer - and maybe earlier.

    Plenty not going to be selling Laca for a big hitter after the early subbing. Could be just a sense of false hope, unless Emery persists with what doesn’t work.

      What doesn't work? Against Spurs, he brought Lacazette on at halftime to pair with Aubameyang, and the performace of the team vastly improved. A couple of games later, it was the other way around. Hardly a consistent failure of any particular system haha
