    good evening, whats the consensus on here about when the ideal remaining time to wildcard is? i notice a lot of my players are playing big teams this week and there are 5-7 players i want to get rid of...but had previously been planning on waiting till gameweek 31 as the fixtures shift then?

    any thoughts ideas welcome

    Thinking of shipping Ba and/or Dempsey. Thinking of Walcott or Gerrard as a replacement for Dempsey.. Ba I have no idea. Worth a 4pt hit or just do one for now? Dempsey's home fixture vs Norwich looks tempting to hold on for to..

    Any thoughts? Would be interested in who people are going with as their 3rd striker.. assuming you have RvP+Rooney combo.

      Similar dilemma. Both really good options. Gerrard (h) to Wigan is hard to ignore but Walcott (h) to Villa then @ QPR is also ideal.

    Like many others, I'm really really tempted to do Silva or Dempsey to Valencia; would be for a hit for me, though. Leaning towards losing Dempsey since he does absolutely nothing away from home so would effectively only be keeping him for NOR; also MC are still chasing the title, after all, so losing Silva might be a little premature. Or should I do nothing?

        Why would you keep when Valencia does the following:

        Scores more
        Is subjet to the same rotation and injury
        Is cheaper

        He will go for me with Valencia going in, its a no brainer IMO.

            I think Valencia's a good option but people here are really getting carried away. He played well today, but he was up against the team with the worst form in the league that were down to 10 men. You can't really garner much info from a match like that.

    Gerrard or Walcott?

      Trying to decide myself. It's proving to be less easy than I thought though. I have RVP for Arsenal attacking returns but none for Liverpool. Plus Gerrard is on pens and free-kicks and (h) to Wigan next.

      Walcott has great potential and (h) to Villa and @ QPR look ideal fixtures too.

      Walcott fits my budget better bit I think Gerrard edges it.

        Yeah. I lied.. its a toughie. Gerrard also has pretty good fixtures for the rest of the season.. assuming he plays.

        Think I'll sleep on it. But currently thinking Gerrard as well. Will scout the QPR game then make my move after.
