The fact he played 90 last game should be a slight concern for owners. Either it's because he's getting a rest this game or he's so damn fit that he doesn't need a rest at all.

To be fair could of easily been a different gw for you hazard hit the bar and Schmeichel had an excellent save near post from a hazard shot, wouldn’t beat yourself up over it he won’t be getting 20 point hauls all the time

Sold Kane and Son for Sterling and Ings and captained Sterling

ML Rival sold Allison (9 points) and Son (21 points) to Fabianski (2 points) and Sane (2 points) for -4 and meant swapping the Captaincy from Aubameyang (26 points) to Sane (4 points), very rough indeed!

I have those three and currently on A. Sou on the up, Doherty always a threat of scoring and AWB at home to Cardiff is a good shout for a clean sheet, was immense vs City and unlucky to not get an assist.

I’ve taken a -8 this week and a -4 a few weeks back only take hits when necessary imo or if you really fancy a few players then just get them

for me to normally take a hit, I must be sure that the player that I'm shipping won't feature at all. I've seen some -8s and -4s getting the likes of auba, laca, sterling and laporte out. Not very wise IMO.

I don't see much wrong with hits if they're not for big hitters who can really hurt you and if you can weigh up the Risk vs Reward.

In my case, I've taken hits to sell players that either are injured or I would bench (Balbuena and Wilson). The exception this time is Anderson who I've moved on to fund my other moves. That's a risk but I know I want Arnautovic and that he'd be making way as soon as he's fit - which seems imminent. So Anderson out could sting but it was a move I was making soon regardless.

The potential upside is that I've covered United's potential bounce, given myself the option to play 4-5-1 in GW20 by strengthening the defence and also saved a 0.3 swing in Team Value overnight. I've also got a very decent bench (perhaps too good) to absorb any rotation shocks in GW19 and 20.

So I feel I've mitigated the -4. I don't take hits lightly and have to work hard to analyse and justify them.

Becuase most of the template players have great fixtures this week - so much so that the majority of us already have a benching headache (for me, it's AWB on the bench) - I have Fraser who most people have been moving on for a United asset but I don't see the point in taking a hit to move him out given that I'm happy with my first 11 this week and I'd only have an additional benching headache if I brought in a United asset.

I do not shy away from a hit and agree it is very much about risk vs. reward. I have certainly made some bad moves (looking at you, Barkley & Success) - but most hits I take have an upside for the upcoming week, as well in future GWs, to help mitigate the -4 over the long run.

For example, in GW17 I took a -4 for both Robertson (MUN) and Son (BUR) Robertson was to correct the WC choice of TAA - who went and go injured. Hindsight tells me I should have got VVD, but Robertson has been consistent all season and I deemed the hit to be well worth it. Son had a fantastic fixture, but unfortunately did not start (I shipped Richarlison).

I saved a transfer this GW and the moves have paid for themselves. Another CS for Robbo and a rank-restoring haul from Son. Forward planning has also allowed me to get in Martial (+ Ings... who I'm happy to bench) for a Bournemouth team who are slightly dipping in form, and one who could be affected by Wilson transfer rumours.

Knew Laca would create an issue this week again if I keep him, so just went forward with Laca to Sane move for -4pts, didnt work but no more headache. Patience mode ON from now onwards.

Auba is a fit guy, he doesn't need a rest. Laca is way overpriced for his potential output and he is a very poor choice for armband. He is in an awkward price bracket so I guess you need to hold now, but I would't bee too optimistic.

I think it is 'if' he goes mental. He hasn't shown that he is particularly explosive. If he gets a goal and an assist you would be fortunate.

At the same price point, Sane is far more likely to haul.
