Four games down, five to go. A fractured Gameweek rolled on with a convincing win for United at Wolves and a not-so emphatic performance and victory for top four hopefuls Newcastle. Our Members can dip into all the data from the weekend’s games and read on for our selection of the notable numbers so far. As usual, we’ve also thrown in our prediction for the Fantasy Premier League bonus points…
Is ba out and in for tottenham a crazy move? He seems to have hit form and will surely keep his place ahead of Torres who can only score against Leicester!
Open ControlsI'm tempted to go crazy with my transfers.
100 points ahead of rival. Pretty sure I'll win the league 🙂
Might just have some fun now.Open ControlsEvans 1 bonus?
Open ControlsI reckon so,
Thought on Newcastle. I'm thinking cisse 3, gutierrez 2, Ba 1 ?Open ControlsHope Ba gets 1 but I don't think so.
Open Controls
At least 1. Delighted no matter what bonus points are given (Evans, Valencia, Rooney(c))
Open Controlscan young get bonus for cheering the team on from the bench?? massive morale boost to have a hot cheerleader, he was the catalyst for the win 😀
Open ControlsDid you not see him holding up the signs to Valencia to tell him to either cut inside or go down the wing for his assists?? =oD

VERY LONG POST ALERT... Excuse me as I go on a little bit of a rant. It's been a while, so I'm due one...
First of all, let me congratulate those of you who played and have (or are due to receive) Siggys points in your team...
Never have I been so indifferent about a new highest rank. I say this because it could - and perhaps should - have been better...
I made 3 BIG decisions this week, decisions that I had discussed on these forums in the last few days with various people...
1. Doubling up on Newcastle defenders cos I had a feeling they would keep a CS...
2. Keeping the faith with Valencia through all his 8 price drops and playing him as a huge, but doubtful, differential...
3. Dropping Siggy for my FT target, Morrison, cos I thought they would rip up Wigan and that Fulham would dominate at home without conceding...
2 out of 3 ain't bad, huh? Well it feels like it. Obviously the third one came first this week and was undoubtedly the biggest body blow I have taken from the bench this season. It is so hard to take, and when this happens you naturally start hoping that people still to play somehow don't make it on to the pitch...
I didn't watch the football this morning (I now live in Australia). I logged out and went to sleep when I saw that Valencia and Rooney both started. I then proceeded to dream about Valencia scoring 2 goals. I woke up and he had got me 14pts. Now you would think I'd be delighted with that, and although I feel completely vindicated in my decision to retain him, I still can't bring myself to be content with how this week has panned out so far...
The problem I have with all of this is how certain decisions you make during the week become 'set in stone' as it were. In midweek, I transferred out DGW punt Drenthe for Morrison before his price rise, on the premise that he would return to point scoring form against Wigan, and would be a great player to have with his upcoming fixtures. At the time of this transfer I immediately decided that I was should play him because he was bound to score well against Wigan...
So, when it came to Saturday night (10 hours ahead), and I was deciding on my final team, I had Siggy sitting there 1st on my bench. Never did it occur to me to reassess previous decisions about who was in my team (ie. Morrison), all that troubled me was that I had to choose between Siggy and the doubtful Valencia.
I have resolved that I was blinded by FT syndrome - playing your new FT acquisition just because you bought him into your team. Never again. And never again will I be benching Siggy.
However, there is a tiny light at the end of this tunnel, with Suarez, Bale, and RVP still to play, and as unlikely as it is to happen, I need one of these guys not to play...
Rant over.Open ControlsI like asian women.
Open ControlsI like your passion, dude =o)
Open ControlsCongrats on the rank & 2/3. I missed the middle one due to Nani. ðŸ™
Open ControlsWell put, so to conclude get in Ferguson because you should never bench Sigurdsson.
Open ControlsA bit too much depth for what looks like a very profitable GW and an even better overall rank. With 11 players to choose from 15 there will always be players left out who end up outscoring your Xl but that's just the way it goes.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing and before the game every one of us had a Fulham win in our minds and thought back to the 5-0 demolition of Wolves and the goal scoring form of both Dempsey and Pogrebnyak. You can't have everything go perfectly for you. You just hope you get the majority of decisions correct and it looks like you're doing that.Open Controls4vetti with Schwarzer & Riise... I want to cry.
Open ControlsYes, you're right CMH... but I'm a perfectionist... one of my many flaws... ðŸ™
Open ControlsHaha could be worse. Your gravatar seems to be that way aswell. I hope you keep climbing those rankings though. I get the rage when I see nice points on my bench so I see where you're coming from.
Think I might introduce a no Swansea benching policy.Open Controls
I nearly moved to Australia (Perth), wish it had happened as i love the place. ðŸ™
Good post btw.
We all go with our gut feelings and choose the players we think will perform on the day.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it comes back and bites us on the arse...
But we still play, week in week out hoping to gain that little piece of fantasy ecstasy which always seems just out of our grasp.
But when it does pay off, tis' a nice warm feeling.Open Controls@Zep, This is well said and quite true! and it happens every week... Siggy staring at me on the bench, and I hope one of my other players tweak a hammy or something.

Sky Sports FF question
It's a DGW for the teams who play on Wednesday. With that in mind who do I captain?
a) RVP @ Everton + (h) to Villa
b) Bale (h) to Stoke + @ Chelsea
c) Silva (h) to Chelsea + @ StokeOpen Controlsa easy
Open Controlsits not a double game week for them they play in game week 29 this wednesday and then gameweek 30 after that
Open ControlsRVP without a doubt.
Open ControlsUnless the scoring system is very different in Sky Sports FF, I don't do it.
Open ControlsThanks mate. Pretty basic scoring system. 5 points for a goal, 3 points for an assist regardless of position and the man of the match in each game gets 5 points so (c) choice is massive in Sky Sports FF.
Open Controls
RMT for GW30. Only problem with it is that Dempsey is away to Utd.
Reina(WIG)
Skrtel(WIG), Evans(FUL), Williamson(wba)
Valencia(FUL), Bale(che), Dempsey(mun), Sigurdsson(EVE)
RVP(C)(AVL), Rooney(VC)(FUL), Ba(wba)
Subs: Sorensen, Moses, Senderos, Kelly.Open ControlsWho to bench this week:
Poggy or Dempsey ? Which is more likely to score at Old Trafford ? Demps looked more dangerous yesterday...Open ControlsMissed the Newcastle game today but from what I gathered the bonus look to be like this? Cisse 3, Guttierez 2, ??? 1. I heard Mike Williamson made a few clearances and had a shot on goal, so could he clinch the last BP by any chance?
Open ControlsIn a 1-0 a defender is usually in the baps.
Open Controls
I FOUND THE SECRET TO SUCCESS.
>>>>>>>Always have one shit player in your team.Open Controlsup to 35k, highest ever rank, wooooooo 🙂
Open ControlsSo, who has triple Fulham on there bench this week â“
Open Controlshaving to play schwarzer ðŸ™
Open ControlsDouble: Transferred Murphy out. Benching Schwarzer, and Pogrebnyak as 1st sub. In steps Bogdan and Miyachi 🙂
Open ControlsDouble...the regret...
Open Controls
Pick one for me for next week, folks:
Simpson (wba), Dempsey (man u) Poggy (man u)
Cheers.Open Controlsanyone? just need a simple a, b or c. would really appreciate it if you could give some advice. thanks!!!
which looks like the best combination starting around gw 30-31 or so?
a) bae + 6.8 or less forward (probably yak)
b) ade and 4.0 or less defender (not sure who…)
c) odemwingie and 5.8 or less defender (probably kaboul or king or maybe caulker)Open ControlsI like A or C. Not many, or indeed 'any' viable 4 mill or less defenders really worth getting, imo...
Open Controls
any bp predictions?
Open ControlsIll take a sheer guess:
Sigurdsson 3, Sinclair 2, Allen 1.
Didn't see Wigan V WBA game
Valencia/ Hernandez 3/2, Evans 1
Cisse 3, Guttierez 2, (Newcastle Defender) 1.Open ControlsI don't mean to be rude by why not read the article?
Open ControlsYou ... member, you! 😉
Open Controls
Ba out but who to bring in out of odemwingie drogba Suarez and ade ?
Open Controls5 goals 2 assists in 9 games great signing..slipped under alot of managers radar

Transfers made, team for GW30:
Vorm
Enrique, Evans, Simpson
Valencia, Pilkington, Bale, Silva
Yakubu, Rooney(VC), RvP(c)
Subs:- McClean,Kompany, Cahill
What do you guys think?Open ControlsYou defs doing RVP as captain ? I am favouring Roonpig more at this particular time. Hmmm, not sure..
Open ControlsPersonally I'd play mcclean over Pilkington, I just see pilk as a possible 1pt waiting to happen. Is imagine hoolahan will come back in next week and with howson having a good game today imo then quite a high risk pilk may not start.
Open ControlsYeah, McClean more nailed-on. Lambert really does like to rotate...
Open ControlsI was thinking that, but Pilkington against Wolves is far too tempting. I'd be kicking myself if Pilkington ran riot and he was sitting on my bench! Although McClean against QPR sounds good too! 🙂
Open Controls
Play both, I am.
Open ControlsSo am I.
Open ControlsAhh I see, bit of a predicament, guess you'd have to bench caulker on paper but I'd hate doing it. Just looked at your team, guessing u bench demps, Kelly and I really think its a toss up between caulk and mcclean, I'd be tempted to go 433 for once but either way its a strong team.
Open ControlsYeah cheers, tempted to bring in Valencia this week for Dempsey or Silva. I'll see how the games go this week as Skrtel/JE/Silva/McClean/Bale or Suarez could get injured. Although with Siggi on my bench it wouldn't be all bad.
Open ControlsVal for demps is solid imo, I'm keeping Silva for now as I had him from start an lose a lot of value plus I just see him coming up big in the next few weeks. With demps (NOR) aside I really don't love his fixtures all that much. Val will outscore him for rest of the season I think.

Who is Simon Pegg? And why is he such a prick?
Open Controlsthe guy from hot fuzz and shaun of the dead
explain?Open ControlsNo way.
Did you ever watch Spaced or Shaun of the Dead?Open Controlsstar trek...
Open ControlsWatch the movie - it's on TV.
Open ControlsUh oh, do u not realise its a film and it's called acting?! 😉
Open ControlsI know quite a bit about acting ... 😉
Open Controls
Oh right. Awful book as well. I dislike Pegg since he was doing publicity for that terrible-looking alien/road movie, and he seemed to take himself very seriously.
Open Controls
War Of The Worlds starting on BBC1 or Rambo on 5+1. Much better options for you. 🙂
Open ControlsYou are so right! *shudders*

2 freebies and 0.0m in the bank - don't really need to use any so was thinking about Nani -> Valencia - good move or is this just a case of chasing last week's points?
Migs
JEvans, Skrtel, Enrique
Nani, Dempsey, Walcott, Siggy
RVP, Rooney, Suarez
Bogdan, Surman, Caulker, ShottonOpen ControlsAwesome team, prob best I've seen, I'd do nani to Val, more nailed on and frees up funds. What r u planning on doing with Suarez after next week? Keep him or get ade or someone else? If u do nani to val also frees up funds to do Enrique to bae or even bog to friedal next week.
Open ControlsCheers - Suarez likely to go in GW31 - Balotelli, Aguero or Adebayor the likely candidates
Was also looking at doing Skrtel -> BAE or Migs -> Friedel in GW31 tooOpen ControlsYeh migs to friedel and ade in are good transfers, I'm looking at the same only friedel in for linde so I can get Val as my 3rd united player. Suarez to ade or even downgrade to graham and get bale in for a midfield of Val, Silva, demp, bale, sigg but then most weeks I'd end up benching a swan so prob ade is less of a selection headache.

What's the highest gameweek rank you guys have ever got in the game? I know the gameweek's not even half over, but at 789th, this is the best GW rank I've ever seen beside my team name!
Open Controls540 earlier this season, before that never been in the top 50k!
Open Controlssame here! Often top 200k with great luck but I'm honestly in shock with how this week has gone so far! 540 is seriously impressive though
Open Controls
looking at your history, that GW moved you up almost 700 thousand places overall. Wow.
Open Controls
well this season its the rank im on this gw 9 000..which will probably rise as i have 6 players left
Open ControlsYou'll prebably end up higher than me then. I've only 4 left and my captain's done and dusted
Open Controls
Rambo.....love it
Open ControlsAnyone know anythign about the suarez injury? was he forced off? Chances of him playing on wednesday?
Open ControlsHmmm ... I shall have to revise my opinion of Shaun of the Dead.
Open ControlsStop torturing yourself with Simon Pegg. John Rambo is about to bring the pain. When you're pushed, killing is as easy as breathing (Rambo, 2008)
