While there are still five games to go in the Gameweek, the EA Sports Player Performance Index has been published for the weekend’s four matches, which means the Fantasy Premier League have awarded their bonus points accordingly. Here’s how they’re shared out…

Fulham 0 Swansea 3
Sigurdsson 3, Routledge 2, Allen 1

Wigan 1 West Brom 1
McArthur 3, Scharner 2, Beausejour 1

Wolves 0 Man United 5
Hernandez 3, Valencia 2, Welbeck & Evans 1

Newcastle 1 Norwich 0
Cisse 3, Gutierrez & Cabaye 2

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

so to get siggy off bench - i need one of Skrtel, RVP, Bale, Suarez, Silva not to play. Cant see it happening. Small chance that Suarez is injured but he plays every game so that 16 points is going to hurt from bench

Better to have it than not. At least other people will need to make transfers to get him in.

That's why having Valencia is great, get the points this week and then other people have to use transfers to get him in.

What to do with Mr Ba?

8.8 to spend, but nobdy calls out to me. Odemwingie would if he were definitely fit. And Balotelli is a tempting risk. Or perhaps Cisse as the new Ba? Or should I just hang onto Demba and hope?

    Thoughts?

I'd say give Ba 1 more week. If he fails again then transfer him out. That way you'll get 1 more week to see who you prefer between Odem and Balotelli.

Papisse is the new Ba, but without all the goals 🙂

Seriously though, he's played 5 Premier League games and scored 3 goals. If he played a full season with the same scoring rate he'd score over 20 goals.

I have a similar problem but want to sort out my midfield first so I have to keep Ba for now. If I had a spare FT I would probably swap for Papiss. I've looked at Balo and he's so prone to rotation I'm not sure he's worth it.

He won't, he'll be back for this weekend (the next GW).

I think you can do better than Sess, and if Rooney drops deep like he has done recently (no reason why he won't seeing as he influences the game more and they've got the forwards to put the ball in) then be prepared for frustration.

Tbh with your team, Suarez and Silva to Rooney and Valencia is more appealing (unless you can get Valencia instead of Sess in the previous suggestion).

My current team for next week is:

    Schwarzer MUN (A)

    Evans J FUL (H) / Jose Enrique WIG (H) / Simpson WBA (A)

    Bale CHE (A) / Valencia FUL (H) / Miyaichi BLA (H) / Walcott AVL (H)

    Rooney FUL (H) / Van Persie AVL (H) / Ba WBA (A)

Already used my free on bringing valencia in, but my keepers are worrying me - have got sorenson who doesn't play which means I'm stuck with only schwarzer and his fixtures over next six are:

mun NOR bol CHE N/A WIG

worth taking a hit to bring in mignolet? would give me a rotation over next six of:

I know his form is awful, but CHE fixtures pick up soon and I need additional 0,1m to get Valencia in Sessegnon's place. I'm not convinced as Sunderland play QPR next week, so it may be a move sideways, at least for the forthcoming GW.

It's not always this way. Don't you remember Blackburn put 4 against Swansea at home and Bale scored a screamer at City Stadium? But you've got the point - try differentials but proven and from good sides; then balance it out (a few popular players + a few differentials) and close the gap gradually.

I agree with Christina. When FUL have NOR, ARS have qpr. Ok the following week ARS have MCI, but FUL are away so Dempsey unlikely to rake in points. After that ARS have wol, WIG while FUL have CHE, liv. So in other words, if you get Walcott surely it's better to keep him.

      RVP.

The guy is pretty much ALWAYS on form, its just injuries that prevent him from being top goalscorer every year.

Was trying to get this front 8 but i'm £2m short of affording it.

    Walcott Valencia Gerrard Bale Siggy

    RVP Rooney Drogba

That is a sweet front 8, but considering you can't play them all every week, downgrading one isn't a huge problem is it?

Out of those i'd be most willing to lose Walcott, because you have RVP as Arsenal coverage, and keeping Rooney and Valencia seems a better idea.

But Walcott is quite tempting at the moment..

I just brought in Walcott and Valencia last night. Gerrard can come in easily in the next 2 weeks but Drogba will be difficult to get in.

Some steady cheap defenders going about just now so there is plenty rotation between 2 GK and 5 defenders. I traded out Bale and RVP in my WC and lost good value on both. RVP was an accident though. That was painful to watch.

Just realised these last two gameweeks have given me a season-high rank, thats a surprise, up to 57k

Considering i was around 60k GW23, 4 red arrows left me just inside the top 100k, but 2 greens have put me back 😀

Now to target the top 10k, the only way is up, right? 😉

Is this a fair assessment regards the top seven:

Utd - priority the league title
City - priority the league title
Spurs - priority league position (for CL) followed by FA Cup
Gunners - priority league position (for CL)
Chelsea- priority CL, followed by league position (for CL) followed by FA Cup
Newcastle - priority league position (for CL /Europa)
    Liverpool - priority FA Cup

If so, then does this favour Utd, City and Arsenal players for the run in, as the other teams have other things to worry about and/or concentrate on?

Really looking forward to the Man City v Chelsea game. Not only is it set up to be a great game but with so much riding on it, any result is likely to be season defining. With Chelsea kickstarting some sort of revival over the past week I am hoping they can somehow overcome City's imperious home form.

From a Fantasy Football perspective, Silva will be in the cross-hair and I'll be hoping he can play himself out of the firing line in my team. A 4pt hit to switch him to Valencia will be too difficult to resist should he fail to return anything again.

Im not buying into this Chelsea revival, they scraped a 1-0 over Stoke with 10 men and fair enough they played well against Napoli but they had to pull it back after being awful in the first leg. Next your gonna tell me the old Torres is back?

Wolves are atrocious at defending though.

The fact that Jonny Evans scored really should tell you all you need to know.

Valencia is class. We knew this before the Wolves match. But 5-0 flatters to deceive imo
