Why? He's most nailed player in a Utd side which will be looking to attack in each game. Selfish, takes lots of shots and most likely no.1 pen taker plus freekicks

There hasn’t really been any evidence in their last 4 games though... we’re kind of just looking at their list of players on paper and going “they’re way too good to not win by 3 or 4”... but the games aren’t played on paper and they’re looking shaky

Realistically they lost a few games in the short term. It's difficult to explain with the depth of squad due to injuries, but their track record has been so good for 1.5 seasons - how are we writing them off now or even this week against Sou?

But could also be rotated and with Liverpool coming the following week, as well as more away matches and their Sterling/Sane's relatively low ownership, I think it's sensible to consider moving them on.

Kane is mr consistency - only player in FPL to have returned in all of his last 8 starts.

Suggestions? 1ft and 2m. Already did sane > pogba so deciding about other FT

    Fabianski
    Alonso Digne Schindler—Doherty Kola
    Hazard Pogba Anderson Rich Son
    Kane Rashford — Kamara

A: Save FT but def is screwed if Alonso rested plus Huddersfield might concede against Fulham..kola and Doherty on bench. Right call? Is there any benefit of 2FTs next gw. Only player I would consider shifting would be Rashford

B: Kola >> Shaw/Holebas and bench Schindler. Kola is way more attacking so shaw is a bit of a punt so solves my defence benching headache for next gw as if I keep Kola, I would need to bench one of Doherty/digne/kola who all have great home fix next gw. Got burned BADLY past gw when I benched digne :((

Over the next 6-8 weeks, would you prefer:

    a) Sane, Robertson, TAA (+0.5m). Switch to 4-4-2.
    B) Salah, Schindler, Chambers ( Stick with 352 and rotate)

  16. Foozeball

    Thoughts on this team?
    Foster
    Robertson - Digne - Lovren
    Sterling - Hazard (C) - Son - Fraser
Kane (VC) - Wilson - Chicharito

    Fabianski, Doherty, McArthur, AWB
    0FT, 1.0 ITB.

Should I stick with Sterling or sell him for a hit for Felipe Anderson? I expect Sterling to blank against Liverpool given his history against them, so it comes down to if he'll start against Southampton or not :/

He’s an FPL machine - always has been.

30 attacking returns in 43 games from central midfield is Lampard/Gerrard level. If he hasn’t missed 2 pens earlier this season he’d have even more.

He’s just got too much quality for the majority of the league to handle when his head is screwed on correctly.

Fair enough. Appreciate the strong opinion.

I’ve gone for Martial and Rashford and will be sticking but obviously want to know as much about Pogba as I can if I do need to consider it down the line.

            1. Maximus Bonimus Pointimus
              • 14 Years
              5 years, 3 months ago

Tony M & Rashers are both fantastic picks at the minute too - Martial in particular is stupidly, ridiculously underpriced for what he offers. 2 years ago he was a 9.0/9.5 striker - he's a much better player now, and classed as a midfielder so the mind boggles at how he is available for close to 7.0.

I haven't got him yet though due to these fitness concerns and the overall competition for utd's front 3 slots is fierce - Kaku, Alexis, Mata, Martial, Rashford, Lingard all trying to play in 3-ish slots so minutes are going to be the problem for those guys rather than their actual ability/quality.

Pogba meanwhile will just sit in the middle of the park playing 90's every week, nailed, (hopefully) ticking over with assists & goals

Martial is the top captain choice this weekend. And yes, comically underpriced. Him and Pogba are essential imo.

I think KDB is a terrific option, but if you look at his shot stats/xG etc they won't be too dissimilar to Pogba's.

The guy is a beast and will create a huge amount, is a real goal threat from distance and from set pieces, and is on pens. And is 8m.

Got Son and Kane, captained Son last week and it obviously worked out well, got the armband on Kane atm though, worried about Son rotation, do you think he'll start? I'd love to captain him again

Thoughts on what to do here?

        Fabianski (Hamer)
        Digne Robertson Alonso (AWB Doherty)
Salah De Bruyne Richarlison Martial (Hojberg)
        Kane Wilson Jiménez

        1 FT and 0.6 ITB

Got KDB last gameweek but sort of regretting that now as he didn’t look great !

Vardy (c) over Kane? Not going to captain Hazard/Sane and don't own Salah.

Spurs are firing but Wolves have kept games close. Cardiff poor and Leicester with confidence from their previous results.

Captain Kane over Vardy. Ownership comes into play with captaincy picks imo

Vardy is actually better in the harder games I have found. He doesn't get enough space against the bottom table sides. Would captain Kane

        Robertson Luiz Doherty Digne Wan-Bisaka

        Sane Salah Felipe Hazard Son
