Gameweek 29 concludes this evening with four of the top five Premier League clubs in action. The Dugout Discussion chatroom opens to absorb your reactions to the events as they unfold. The team news from all four games is in and, starting with the two games about to kick-off, are as follows…

Man City XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Richards, Toure, Clichy, Silva, Toure Yaya, De Jong, Nasri, Aguero, Balotelli.

Chelsea XI: Cech, Ivanovic, Luiz, Cahill, Cole, Mikel, Meireles, Ramires, Lampard, Mata, Torres.

A major blow for City is that their captain Vincent Kompany again misses through injury, so Micah Richards moves infield to partner Kolo Toure in central defence with Pablo Zabaleta returning at right-back. Despite previously claiming his career at the club over, Roberto Mancini has named Carlos Tevez amongst his substitutes.

As for Chelsea, Roberto Di Matteo gives Fernando Torres a chance to build on his two FA Cup goals from the weekend, meaning Didier Drogba sits on the bench.

Spurs XI: Friedel, Walker, Kaboul, King, Assou-Ekotto, Kranjcar, Parker, Modric, Bale, Van der Vaart, Saha.

Stoke XI: Begovic, Wilkinson, Huth, Shawcross, Wilson, Pennant, Palacios, Diao, Jerome, Walters, Crouch.

Several changes for both sides include starts for Ledley King, Younes Kaboul and Niko Kranjcar in white, whilst Jermaine Pennant replaces the injured Matthew Etherington for Tony Pulis’ side.

QPR XI: Kenny, Young, Onuoha, Ferdinand, Traore, Barton, Derry, Diakite, Taarabt, Zamora, Cisse.

Liverpool XI: Reina, Kelly, Carragher, Skrtel, Jose Enrique, Kuyt, Spearing, Adam, Downing, Gerrard, Suarez.

Djibril Cisse faces his former club tonight in a side that has spots for both Luke Young and Adel Taarabt. They replace Clint Hill and Shaun Wright-Phillips respectively. Kenny Dalglish opts to drop Andy Carroll to the bench, and he brings in both Charlie Adam and Dirk Kuyt.

Everton: Howard, Hibbert, Heitinga, Distin, Baines, Pienaar, Fellaini, Osman, Drenthe, Cahill, Jelavic.

Arsenal: Szczesny, Sagna, Vermaelen, Koscielny, Gibbs, Walcott, Arteta, Song, Ramsey, Rosicky, van Persie.

Steven Pienaar returns to Premier League action in place of the injured Seamus Coleman, and Leon Osman captains Everton because Tony Hibbert comes in for Phil Neville at right-back.

Another player facing a previous employer tonight is Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta, who starts in a side making one change from the home win over Newcastle – Aaron Ramsey gets the nod ahead of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open and can be accessed right here.

On 50 pre baps, I would imagine that that is very 'meh' in these parts?

The average will be about 28/29..

    Things we learnt tonight

    1. Silva is now a pale imitation of himself - but Tevez could provide the spark to take them over the line
    2. Arsenal are to second half of the season what Spurs were to the first

Bale needs reigning in by his manager. He's been given to free a role. Looks like he's trying to play like Messi when he should stick to wing play more for me.

Problem with sticking to the wing is he becomes a one-trick pony and defences figure out how to stop him. Even Phil Nevill kept him quiet last season.

Mix it up a bit, so the theory goes, and you keep defences guessing.

that's now 1 goal in 18 gameweeks for silva and worryingly he's been taken off in the last 2 games with man city needing goals. there's no amount of assists which can polish that, especially so in this season's goal-friendly bp system

Right, for the first time this season I am needing some advice from you all!

    Vorm & Ruddy
    Kompany, BAE, Williamson, Evans, Skrtel
    Silva, Bale, Siggy, Valencia, Sessngon
    RVP, Zamora, Pog

Now me thinks Silva needs to go, as does Bale to be fair. But only have 2 frees and 2.4m in bank. So Silva out, Zamora Out Rooney? In and what midfielder for what would be 6.4m?!

to be fair on paper santon had NOR and siggy had ful. another time you'll profit from it, or at least not lose out so much, was harsh santon didn't start then came on late in a cs game to really compound matters.
basically you didn't luck out like others getting siggy off the bench. you're not 'meant' to get lucky if that makes sense

Kenny Out. F*cking disgraceful result. Winning the Carling Cup has certainly masked how sh*t we have done this year. Losing to Bolton, QPR and Sunderland amongst other is not on for a team that should be at least pushing for a Champions League spot. He's also wasted £75,000,000 on 3 players in Henderson, Carroll and Downing with the latter getting his first premier league assist of the season tonight when he should be in at least double figures.

Totally agree. Been saying it for ages. King Kenny is not a king. Liverpudlians are just clouded in judgment. He KNOWS he is poor, the way he looks at the crowd and clenchs fists when they score says to me "YES! Please support me, I can get a goal!" ha.

They need a classy manager like Chris Powell, but hands off!
