Ain’t snow stopping us now. Despite the downpour of white stuff in the North-East St James’ Park is good to go to play host to Chelsea and that is where we start our Sunday affairs.

Newcastle welcome Cheikh Tiote back into their team after suspension, Sol Campbell and Steven Taylor cover for the suspended Williamson and Coloccini while Wayne Routledge comes in for Kevin Nolan who has picked up a knock. Chelsea play the eleven as revealed earlier in the week..

Newcastle XI: Krul; Simpson, Campbell, S. Taylor, Enrique; Routledge, Guthrie, Tiote, Gutierrez; Ameobi, Carroll

Chelsea XI: Cech; Bosingwa, Alex, Ivanovic, Cole; Mikel, Ramires, Malouda; Anelka, Drogba, Kalou

After we weather the storms up north we have Spurs playing host to Liverpool to warm our cockles while the gameweek comes to a close.

All of you looking for your matchday fix can of course head into the Dugout Discussion to discuss your favourite snowflake or, preferably, Fernando Torres’ impending hat-trick.

Talking of N'Zogbia, I saw the goal again today from 3 different angles and it's the defender who makes the last touch before the goal. It should be an assist but by the letter of the 'law' it isn't.

Hi all, don't know if anyone can help with this (or if this makes any sense!) but currently two of my four defenders didn't play this week (and my defender sub is injured!), but I have Ameobi sitting like an idiot on my bench.

Will FPL allow Ameobi to replace one of these unplayed defenders, or will they, due to the rule of always having 3 defenders in the starting line up, keep him on the bench and leave my two defenders with 0 in the team? I was kind of hoping they'd allow Ameobi to replace one of them and leave the other defender on 0 in my team!?

    I need some sleep.
