Ain’t snow stopping us now. Despite the downpour of white stuff in the North-East St James’ Park is good to go to play host to Chelsea and that is where we start our Sunday affairs.

Newcastle welcome Cheikh Tiote back into their team after suspension, Sol Campbell and Steven Taylor cover for the suspended Williamson and Coloccini while Wayne Routledge comes in for Kevin Nolan who has picked up a knock. Chelsea play the eleven as revealed earlier in the week..

Newcastle XI: Krul; Simpson, Campbell, S. Taylor, Enrique; Routledge, Guthrie, Tiote, Gutierrez; Ameobi, Carroll

Chelsea XI: Cech; Bosingwa, Alex, Ivanovic, Cole; Mikel, Ramires, Malouda; Anelka, Drogba, Kalou

After we weather the storms up north we have Spurs playing host to Liverpool to warm our cockles while the gameweek comes to a close.

All of you looking for your matchday fix can of course head into the Dugout Discussion to discuss your favourite snowflake or, preferably, Fernando Torres’ impending hat-trick.

Other than every single 50/50 going Newcastle's way......... Ermmm.. There was also the time when Enrique tripped Kalou in the penalty area without getting anywhere near the ball.

Oh, and Tioté should have been sent off.

The biggest injustice was Drogba not getting a yellow for diving.

That's ridiculous. Blatant dive, and a sure sign that Drogba is bang out of form because when his mind's right he'd just run through and tuck that away.

Here's hoping he can put an end to his shocking run in the second half.

Question is Drog out - who in?

Rooney, Torres, Tevez, Balotelli are the candidates.

Yeah but I've kind of lost the will to play the game properly and semi-opting for players I want to see do well rather than those I think will.

True. If I didn't have Tevez, I'd be tempted by bad boy Balotelli, just for flair (as AB would put it).

Still not 100% convinced by Rooney. United score 7, he has two shots in the whole game, one of which doesn't get past the defence. Last season United were dependant on him, now the likes of Nani, Scholes and Berbatov have been way more influential.

I know so irritating. Idiots like Taylor and Barnes really are the most boring c*nts in the world, they spend all half talking about business and every time marriner makes a bad decision cheer like mugs, hate them so much.

At least Simpson turned Kalou's pass to the keeper into the net. Ramires and Kalou both sh!t, Anelka and Malouda only ones who look like doing anything.

Oh yeah, Newcastle aren't good at all.. We'll win this game but we certainly aren't playing well.

Mikel and Ramires are getting too far forward, leaves us quite exposed on the counter, but fortunately Carroll and Ameobi are such oafs that they can't punish us.

I think the Chelsea midfielders have offered too little attacking wise in this game. The front three are working hard but when they get the ball they mostly have their back to goal or have drifted wide. Then if they manage to keep it anyway there are not enough follow-up runs from the two midfielders.

i really think i have some demon haunting me.

was staring at 400 quid there, got boots gloves, cash ready at 42 minutes, came back into the game, ready to go put 170 on in williamhill at 13/10 for over 1 goals, so i was guaranteed the 200 quid, a badly needed 200 quid.

I did everything right. ANdy carroll did everything right. Fifty f**king five to one, and that c*nt Kalou scores with 30 seconds left in the half.

I dont know why im writing, perhaps to stave off the general feeling of doom i feel upon myself. THat was just the biggest kick in the bals i think ive ever got

My mate, who does 0 preperation and knows, quite frankly, bugger all about football puts the following bets on:

Dover v Gillingham (FA Cup 1st)

                  Bet: £2 on Dover 2 - 0 Gillingham - Birchall to score first @ ~100/1.

Crazy. From 13.2 to 12.8. Im thinking Drogba - Bent or Torres. It would leave me with no chelsea coverage though. Not sure its smart with Essien and Lamps coming back.

Why get rid of Gyan when he has West Ham at home? If he's fit he will play. Welbeck will be shifted out to the right.

I get the feeling that, if he doesn't score in the next 45 mins, Drogba is going out of a lot of teams next week.

    I reckon he'll score though.

Interesting stat that if Spurs and Liverpool both score, it'll be the first time in prem history that all teams have scored in one weekend.

          See Werder Bremen game midweek.

Kaboul and Gallas are brimming with confidence apart Gallas being made (C) and Kaboul scoring 2 in 2. Playing much better together now.

    Watched 1st half -
Newcastle give everything but lack real creativity - tiote is excellent & Carroll worked his testicles off.

Chelsea have no real pattern to their play - not enough players in the box and both ramires and mikel are shockingly poor.

It will be interesting how Ancelloti changes it 2nd half but goinf forward Chelsea lack idea's.

looking at my team now, which transfer is more important to be made? not planning to take points hit.

i have coleman, elmo and bosingwa who are not regulars. williamson serving suspension. so that leaves me with kolarov.

i also still have fabregas and want nasri.

i want to get in rooney too. so which transfer do you think is the most sensible?
